eh ... it's ok. kinda tricky to install.

I honestly thought I was going to have to replace all of the shutters in my house- $7500 to just $30 buying all the packets we needed. The plastic pieces on the original shutters had gotten so sun damaged, they had snapped off on several of my shutters throughout the house. I've been living with ugly shutters for about two years- looking for a dealer or installation/retail of my blinds to come repair them. Absolutely no luck in that after several months of searching. And low and behold, today, we put these on (easy enough) and we have refurbished and perfectly working shutters again. So happy! The only reason I gave this 4 stars rather than 5 is because these are made in China. They SHOULD be made here in the US! The men who came up with this great fix need to bring the manufacturing back to the US.

Not what I expected.

NEED SMALL FINGERS -TAPE GETS LOOSE EVERY NOW &THEN BUT IT'S A VERY GOOD I SHOULD NOT COMPLAIN I DIDN'T THINK OF IT

These are horrible. I read the bad reviews and stupidly ordered 3 sets of them anyway. I followed the instructions as written and completely cleaned and prepped the area. Tape is not strong at all and this ended up being a total waste of my money. Much better to do what I was originally planning to do and just tackle the project with a small drill bit and #216 screw eyes. I am so upset that I didn't follow my gut...

I believe this package was old or exposed to something (maybe sun) because after I applied the shutter repair tape it came unattached or unglued. It's messy and did not work. I have not removed the messy tape because I fear breaking loose another shutter slat.I bought this product from the company last time and it worked then and is still working now.Boo Hoo
