16 Miles a Day — Great Boots (with New Insoles)
I walk 16 miles every day at work, and after swapping out the original insoles, these Oakley Light Patrol boots became exactly what I needed. With better insoles, they’re super comfortable, lightweight, and supportive—perfect for long shifts on your feet. The fit is true to size, and they didn’t take long to break in. The breathability is surprisingly good for tactical boots, and the grip and durability have been rock solid so far.At the $100 price, these are a fantastic deal. Just know you may want to upgrade the insoles for maximum comfort—once you do, they’re pretty much perfect.

Price comfe style functional
10/5/24It's a name brand so I expected more expensive. These are my second pair. First pair lasted 19 months worn 12 to 18 hours a day 5 days a week. So so comfortable, so light. These are the only boots in 19 yrs that have not hurt my feet. The old ones still work but the tread is starting to go. Still use them for the garage. I took one star off BC I wish they made a pair with zip up and not just laces. Note: this are not steel tow or shaft protected.

No ankle support and thin sole
Purchased for my work as a correctional officer. The first thing that I noticed was that the sole was thin and hard, providing little cushion or support for long stretches of standing or walking. I did not want to try running in these, as I was certain that my feet would hurt after just a hundred yards. The upper ankle part provided little to no ankle support, which is the only reason that I would wear a boot instead of a shoe. My heels slid in all directions even though the length of the boots appeared correct. Other reviews said that the felt like tennis shoes, I would agree with that statement if the reviewers meant that they were like the Converse canvass basketball shoes some people wore in the 1960’s and 70’s. I was disappointed and could not find any reason to keep the boots.
