I had a hard time at first finding a thick chenille, maroon blanket that wasn't burgundy (like wine) or fire-hydrant red which would fit my red cabin- style duvet set. This was absolutely perfect! At first I wasn't crazy about the basketweave pattern of stitching because I really wanted a cable knit, but it is so thick and fluffy that I wound up not caring. The fringes on the outside are adorable too. I thought it was a tad pricey, but in this case you really get what you pay for. I have tried to buy something like this through several different outfits already (like ebay and Wayfair) and either the color was off or the blanket was not thick enough. The quality was honestly more than I expected. It also holds up really well in the wash so long you use the cold gentles cycle. (I was sweating bullets about it breaking in the wash based on prior reviews, but was relieved that was not the case).The One Downside: I find that this blanket makes it hard for me to get out of bed because the weight makes you feel tucked-in, the texture is so perfect, and the color is so comforting.

Bought this to go on the back of my sofa. The color is perfect! It is so soft and warm! I wish it came in more colors, I would put one on the end of every bed in the house

Gorgeous colour, very thick and a nice pattern. Can be used on couches or beds or to wrap around yourself while reading. Make sure to wash on delicate. It’s also very soft. Highly recommend.

Had strong odour upon arrival. When washed, following instructions, it shrunk horribly.
