Look What's Happened to Rosemary's Baby

Great Stars!
This TV movie has some great stars but falls short of the superbly crafted Polanski film. The only returning cast member is Ruth Gordon who gives another great performance. Ray Milland also stands out. Patty Duke is good as Rosemary, but is only in the first few minutes. It's cool seeing Tina Louise before Dallas, as well as Donna Mills, but the story falls flat. George Maharis looks good as Guy. No special features, just the 1976 TV movie.

Don't Bother
Now, I was in no way expecting this to be as competent as the original 1968 film; in fact I went in hoping for a campy, so-bad-its-good 1970s Cheesefest, but sadly that is not the case, either. Talented actors are wasted in this, and you won't remember anything about it a month later.

Great Movie!
Stephen McHattie is great as a grown-up Adrian, son of you-know-who. Ruth Gordon reprises her role as Minnie Catavet, and though there was a bit of shifting actors into the various supporting roles, this film is a winner. (And the TR-7 Adrian has is awesome!)

Disappointing
Terrible movie but great cast. Like others mentioned I only bought it because I'm a fan of Patty Duke and wanted to see Tina Louise, Lloyd Haynes and Ruth Gordon. Ruth Gordon didn't have any of the spunk she had in the original. The movie is missing what the original had--a great script. I thought it was boring and it had no plot. This one should have stayed in the vault.

HORRIBLE
I could not make it through this atrocity. It just goes to show that even great actors cannot carry a horrid 4th rate script. Sometimes movies are so bad they are laughable and endearing, this did not even make that cut.

Just For Fun!
What can I say? My motivation for purchasing this movie was purely based on nostalgia. By no means a great movie, it was a lot of fun to revisit this one. It deals with Rosemary Woodhouse's son, Adrian, played by a young Stephen McHattie ,who is now a young adult. It's fun to see a cast which features Patty Duke, Tina Louise, ( yes, "Ginger" of Gilligan 's Island), and a few others. It really is just for fun as far as I'm concerned. Don't expect anything more than that, or you will be immensely disappointed. But really.. if you saw Rosemary's Baby, a true classic among horror films, haven't you at least at some point, wondered what became of little "Adrian?" Well, this provides you with the chance to find out, although you may very well walk away feeling that many things are best left a mystery. Only do this for nostalgia or fun! ; )

This Is Not Rosemary's Baby
This is the sequel to the 1968 movie Rosemary's Baby.It shows an 8 year old blond Adrian - The Son Of Satan, so-called Adrian by the 'Hail Satan' group, and Andrew - The Son Of Rosemary, so-called Andrew by his mother Rosemary.Adrian is an anagram for Radian - Angles of Higher Dimensional Logistics.Andrew is an anagram for Warden - The Power Within is Good.A dark haired Adrian/Andrew spends much of his life confused & struggling with the powers of evil and the powers of good. Ultimately at age twenty-something Adrian attempts to take his place in society as the Antichrist. In an unprovoked attack Adrian attacks a group of bikers and becomes mesmerised in heavy metal music. This is a terrible movie, with lots of misquotes from the original movie. It draws on stereotypical ideas but promotes the idea that sequels are OK without the original cast, but that's not true and this did not work. When we watch sequels, we expect to see the original cast of major players. This movie only has one member of the original cast, Ruth Gordon as Minnie Castavet.I think the time is ripe for a remake of this movie, with a Black/White mixed race child cast as Adrian Andrews, especially after Zoe Saldana was cast as Rosemary for the 2014 TV Mini Series of Rosemary's Baby set in France.I think Rosemary's Baby both the 1968 & 2014 versions must have had bigger budgets to begin with, because Look What Happened To Rosemary's Baby seems like a low-budget movie with lots of 'uncredited' acting.
