CZFCGA Manifold Gauge Set

Although the gauges work good, quick connects are great, gauges are easy to ready, and hoses are a good length, both low and high pressure handles for opening and closing the valves have broken. For someone only uses the gauges once or twice a year, they are fine. If you plan to use them every day or week, I suggest going with gauges that have metal handles.

The gauge was delivered in record time and I thank Amazon for that. I did my ac repair and was ready to evacuate and recharge. The gauge set is not professional quality, but is good for the money and good enough for anyone that does occasional recharges and diagnosing system pressures. I hooked up my vacuum pump and evacuated the system with no problems and the gauges read well. Something you must be aware of is the 1/2" acme threads on the lines fit the the vehicles OK but the center line (yellow) will not fit the small 12oz. cans you get at Autozone, Advance Auto, etc. The hose will fit the bigger 30lb. cans, (maybe they do this for a reason), so I had to go to Advance Auto and buy a hose/gauge adapter for the smaller cans for $25.00 to charge the system. Everybody that buys a manifold gauge set doesn't have 30lb. refrigerant tanks, a lot just want to charge their system with the smaller cans and check pressures. I would give this gauge set another star if the kit had an adapter to fit the smaller cans.

It works fine and seems to be of sufficient quality for home mechanic. It does everything you need it to do, however, you have to know ahead of time because this product doesn't come with instructions, ask a friend or some body before you use it. I am an electrician. But, I have a friend who is mechanic and air conditioning to help me. The manifold gauge worked great. I pulled a vacuum on the gauges and it held for an hours I left it sitting. I bought all my own A/C tools this time rather than having the local shop to work on my truck, Be sure to buy a can tap as well. I will say the instructions weren't great but if you know what you're doing you'll be fine. I'd recommend these to anyone. I looked at all the models on Amazon and I'm glad that I bought this manifold.

Read the reviews on this manifold set and it didn`t sound too bad so i bought it and also bought the Mastercool #85510 can tap valve to go with it. Everything was fine until i tried to connect the yellow hose to the can tap and found out it does not fit. Emailed Mastercool and they said that i also need fitting # 82635 around $6.00 that reduces the can tap from 1/2" down to a 1/4". Guess i will get that ordered now. Good thing its not the middle of summer.

This was perfect for my A/C repair. ZERO leaks, everything sealed up nice and tight by hand. The main reason I picked this kit over the rest, besides the cost, was because it had the good quick disconnect with the turning knob so that you don't accidentally damage your Schroeder valves on your high and low pressure lines. For all those complaining about the yellow hose not fitting the can tap...go buy a more expensive can tap that does have a 1/4" outlet or just buy the 1/2" to 1/4" adapter to use with you cheap universal can tap. This gauge works great and saved me at least twice what I paid for it even though I did not do the repair. Because of the business of work and an unexpected trip out of town, I had to take it in to the shop to get me AC fixed. By diagnosing the issue myself, I was able to talk to the mechanic into simply replacing the clutch without removing the compressor. It cost a few a couple hundred dollars since we could not find anywhere that would sell just the A/C clutch for my Dodge Dakota.

loved the carrying case it comes with, works great, good for the price...didn't like the fact that the hose gave problems while trying to close the case, my open/close stickers fell out quite easily...nothing a little glue wont fix...have to buy the r134 bottle adapter separate since it does not come with this set

Bought this so i could fix my trucks a/c system, and it worked, but the quality of this set is lacking.. The coupler that connects to the low side fitting broke right as i took it out of the box, i did fix it by replacing the snap ring so i could use it though.. Not bad for 50 bucks but if i had it to do over again i would have spent 10 more dollars and got the one harbor freight has..
