It worked perfectly. Now I have a travel charger, and that's awesome.

So far so good. The actual Dell one separated at the light and shorted out. I tried to fix it but it's designed so poorly and when I put it back together it popped when I plugged it in. This was the only real affordable one, Dell wanted almost 200$ for it and couldn't make up their minds if I had a warranty or not. I'll update later on if something happens to it.

Opened the box and used it for maybe a week. Weird smell and I look over at the adapter and it is puffing smoke! Returning the one I used plus the 2 others I got for travel and the office before they kill me in a house fire! Cord started to fall to fall to pieces too after the second day, but I suppose that’s irrelevant if it burns down.Kept unplugging itself leading to poor charging or slow charging. Bad fit.

I was apprehensive in buying a third-party power supply for a pricey laptop. My Dell 240W quit working after just three months and left me dead in the water with no way to use my laptop. Needed a quick replacement due to long wait in dealing with a warranty replacement from Dell. I read several reviews from all sorts of third-party brands. From what I can gather they are all Chinese knock offs and it's hard to know if you are getting a decent quality unit or a cheapo that will cause harm to your expensive laptop. This one seemed to have honest reviews that weren't VINE reviews. BIOS showed 240W power supply and everything seems to be working solid so far. I don’t know how to run any other checks besides hooking up a Multimeter which I haven’t done. I will update if anything changes. I would recommend this as reliable replacement based on my initial experience. Just hope I can get more than 3 months out of it.

Works perfectly. Its just as heavy as the original, but I got it as a spare because the original seems to be coming loose at the little blue light.

**Update 10-26-21I'm updating the score on my review, because while the charger did have issues after 5 months of use, the company's customer service was very prompt with their help and provided me with a replacement charger that is working well.**10-20-21Bought this for my laptop in May. By the middle of October and the cord has already come apart, and it will not power my laptop.

Replacement charging unit for my Alienware 17R4 laptop. The original stopped charging, so I purchased a huge replacement (2x the size of this one), and it works sometimes. It got me through a crisis and I didn't send it back because it was better than nothing. Dell doesn't list a replacement for my Alienware. This is my work system!This unit is great, even better than the original! Anyone with a similar system would be quite pleased with it.Pros: Quick charging, small footprint, price, design. Cons: None. Would recommend and buy again!

This is the second one I had to buy. The first one fried out on me. If it happens again I’m gonna have to research a different brand but I probably should have already instead of going this route again.Edit:Customer service really stepped up and helped me with a refund since it was under warranty. Hopefully, the first one was just defective but my faith has been restored with this company and am happy I did business with them.
