Great information, tons of great photographs.

Fabulous book about an artistic phenom!

I am a huge fan of Mr. Noguchi's sculpture. I have read "Listening to Stone" but it is great to read his own words. Large format Art Bookwith excellent photographs.

I was very happy to find out this book (originally published in '68) had been re-published by another publisher. Wonderful book to know about Noguchi's works and his autobiographical comments for the background.

I bought this book as a gift and am thrilled that I did. Noguchi's work is utterly remarkable and so is this book!

I was disappointed in this book in light of the positive reviews. I am an artist and buy/collect books "for the pictures" so I won't comment on the text. The addition I got was published in 2015. The paper itself is matte and has the feel of cheap absorbent news print, thus the images are some of the flattest, most washed out and blurriest images I have ever seen in an art book. There are 255 black and white plates and 13 color plates.

Excellent source of a much underrated pioneer - not sure if numerous spelling/grammatical errors should be made or if it should be left alone - either way it is a very good account of the creative process.

A most interesting book. I'd already read it back in 1970 and it helped me on my way with my career.
