Instead of adding numbers to this set, they should have provided more letters. I could only write three names out and have SOOO many letters left over. They need more N and Ys. I had to make 10 water bottles for a party favor so ended up order another vinyl letter set, which allowed me to make almost all 10 names with one order - but on the downside, they're not as nice as these die cut letters. So torn, but ultimately, wasn't worth me buying three more of these at $6 a pop for a silly fun party favor ($24 in total versus the $7 I paid for the other style). If you are willing to pay, these are definitely nice. Verdict is still out on how well they stay stuck on though once it starts getting used.

'Purchased this to add parking pass numbers to aluminized weather covers for cars (so I don't get hassled by Condominium Management wondering if/whether or not the underlying car was properly permitted to be on the property).While the numbers were a bit challenging to remove from the sheet (because the cutting die had apparently cut thru more than just the letters and thru the shiny part of the substrate), the adhesive's ability to stick to my finger(s) suggests to me that the numbers are unlikely to become dislodged from the cover. In fact, I think it would be difficult to remove them from the cover - so I am expecting a long service life from them.Bottom line: I'm happy with them - they're perfect for my application (and I'm looking for additional uses for the remainders) -- only time will tell, but I suspect that the numbers will outlive the car cover(s).

Each stencil letter did the job as needed, but there was not a sufficient quantity in one pack to finish the project. I found another brand on Amazon of comparable quality that sold packs containing twice as many stencils for less than this brand. I bought three of their packs. Maybe Helvetic’s will consider providing more bang for the buck.

I used this on a plastic megaphone and then put modge podge over it. Worked great.

This is a good, basic set of letters, numbers and a few symbols. The letters and numbers are 1" in height. For the most part, they are relatively easy to peel and use. They have been fairly generous with the vowels, 7 each of A, E and I, but only 4 each of O and U. But only 1 each of Q, X, Y and Z. The numbers have 2 each, except 9 (only 1). I would have preferred more letters and less symbols. There are several commas and periods, 2 ampersands (@), 2 asterisks (*), 1 each cent and dollar signs and 1 each exclamation and question mark. Rounding out the symbols, a percent sign (%) and 4 slash marks (/) and 2 dashes (or hyphens).Overall, a balanced set. Would have been nice to have more letters, but this set will serve the purpose I need. Would buy again.

I could not find 1 inch Vinyl numbers at Home Depot or Lowe's, and was happy to find exactly what I needed for my new mailbox. I highly recommend the 1 inch if you need to add your house number on your mailbox.

THESE LETTERS ARE NOT OF UNIFORM HEIGHT. I used, for example, a C, a P and a T in one word and they were of 3 heights. Poorly engineered. No excuse for this.

Using these to put numbers and my son's name on top of his hockey helmet. Much better value than some 10-20$ hockey font stickers than ONLY have numbers not letters. These are vinyl and fairly water resistant.Awesome value. Great adhesion. Nothing to complain about. They even stick perfect to the NONsmooth parts of his helmet .Update:I just bought another couple sets of these decals. These stick very well on plastic. I'm using them to write my son's name on top of the helmet plus his number for hockey. It has lasted two seasons already and finally peeled off so I'm just replacing a few letters to start third season. I wish that this pack came with more duplicate letters.

I have been using these for years. I have a 18 year old kayak and the very first set of letters are still on the kayak today, look great and are holding up very well. I am putting the names on the rest of the boats that I have built in the last 2 years. VERY HAPPY with these.

Worked really for what my intended use was, and that was so paint over top to make letters. If you’re doing the same, make sure you press extra hard to seal it as close as you can to prevent bleeding and paint from inside the letter out with a light hand.
