Which is better marathon or boulevard

My wife and I have both; she has the Boulevard in her car and I have the Marathon in mine. The Boulevard feels more premium since it has more padding (than the Marathon) and provides for a more secure fit. The Marathon is a little roomier and easier to get your child in, but doesn't have as much padding and the snug fit that the Boulevard provides. Also, the click tight feature on the Boulevard is really nice, you just pull the strap to tighten until it clicks; there's no guess work on if the straps are tight enough. In the end, it's really a preference, but I prefer the Boulevard.

I'm debating between the marathon and boulevard ct models. wondering what people think of the "snug harness indicator" feature on the boulevard?

The Boulevard CT has slightly different height limits which could be important especially for rear-facing. The Marathon CT just has shorter height limits. The Boulevard CT has the handy Click and Safe feature which helps caregivers know the harness is tightened enough. The Boulevard CT also has more padding around the head area for side-impact protection.

The manufacture date on mine was manufactured within 6 months from when I bought it.

Has anyone had any problems fitting the Boulevard on a plane?

I did exactly that a month ago. It fit fine in economy, armrests weren't a problem. It was a bit tricky to get the belt buckle together, since the buckle part is against the wall of the plane, but it eventually worked out.
