Would this overheat my dog, especially on summer? It's really hot and dry at where I live and our dog has long, thick hair.

We live in an extremely hot climate as well. If worn outside for a lengthy period of time in the summer, I think it would certainly make the dog hotter, as it is a nylon-type fabric that doesn't breathe, and will prevent air flow around the dog's body. That said, I don't frequently take my dog for long walks when it's 115º outside, and I don't leave the harness on when we aren't going on a walk or other activity, so it hasn't been a problem for us for the length of time the dog has worn the harness, and the weather we've been out in. If your dog is a service dog who will be wearing the harness basically all day in all sorts of weather, however, it is something to consider. I don't think it would be much more heat-inducing than most other harnesses, as most are padded nylon as well.

Yes, I attach my bike attachment to the back ring and we go on bike rides all the time. No problems

Will this product be good for a three legged dog?
