This is my 3rd COOAU dashcam. They are great quality, affordable, easy to operate, and easy to install. The D30S has an useful suction cup mount that does away with the 3M tape, so it's easy to move around to get the best angle. The screen and video quality is great, too. The app is user-friendly and connects my phone to the dashcam to access videos and settings. I've had it installed for about 2 weeks now, and have had no issues. I upgrade this unit from an older COOAU model, and it took me less than 5 minutes. I was able to use the existing power cable and once I mounted it to the windshield, I just connected it to the existing app on my phone. Simple! We started using dashcams for our safety. We like the peace of mind they provide us.

Great little camera. Set up easily, pictures are sharp and clear, suction cup mount works really well and lets the camera be easily repositioned, if placed behind and just below rear-view mirror it's unobtrusive and doesn't obstruct view. App is intuitive and works well. COOAU advises to use a name-brand storage card, but I used a MicroCenter card and it worked fine, though I did have to format it twice.

Very simple to set up and easy to use. I've had this product over 5 years and never experienced an issue with it. Easy to erase old data, starts recording immediately. I've been in 2 accidents which were not my fault and both times the other drive said it was. This video quality was so clear it not only helped my claim but the look of panic on the drivers faces when the police officer told them I had a dash cam was priceless.

I've had this camera for two years now, and for the most part, it's been pretty solid! The set-up is easy, and the video quality is great. I love having the simultaneous inside and outside filming, which is one of the reasons I got this particular model The only aspects that can be confusing or difficult: once in a while, it will automatically go to a screen where it asks if I want to delete the memory card. Also, while I could always pull the memory card out to retrieve content, sometimes it won't allow me to connect from my phone using their app. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Otherwise - for the price, and the fact that it's still been recording constantly for over two years now, I can definitely recommend this one!

First unit arrived defective - and seller quickly exchanged it. Second unit was good - but with the substantial design problems below. Finally got the very specific sd card required for this unit - not included and needed to buy separately - and now the unit is fully set up - so ready to use the app. Downloaded the Ficam app - which is the only way to get into the settings - and the app does not work. No way to set up an account with the way it is designed - and just an endless loop of error messages. Because the Seller was responsive enough to refund the cost of this unit due to all the issues, I can afford to throw this unit in the garbage. Wasted enough time on this badly designed dash cam - will be buying the next one from a major manufacturer off Amazo - learned my lesson here. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Previous review: The COOAU Dash Cam D30 has great picture quality and I really like the built in camera to easily record the interior - but the dash cam needs some design improvements: 1. the power cord plug that goes into the cigarette lighter outlet does not have a usb port to also charge your phone in the car - the dash cam plug hogs the whole thing, unlike other manufacturers that design that as standard 2. the settings menu is very difficult to get to once you put an SD card in - the unit starts recording and does not allow you into settings, so you have to take out the SD card and set up the unit like the first time if you ever want to change a setting or you have to contact customer service for a better answer than in the manual 3 the Ficam app to use the wifi features is rated "3.2" on the PlayStore and the most recent reviews say it is full of glitches and causes many problems on phones it is used on - so proceed with caution. On the plus side the unit is one of the few that is designed to record forward and interior in one unit without running lots of cables and when I contacted customer service they were very responsive and addressed each concern.

This is a great Dash Cam. Installation was super easy, video quality seems perfect and the memory card has plenty of space. I really like the speedometer feature and the geo- coordinates. It’s a solid dash cam and I am happy with the great purchase so far. I wish it had a rear-view cam too.

Totalmente contento con la cámara!, al vincularla con la aplicación, prácticamente te lleva de la mano, todo lo hace ella, perfectamente diseñada, se manipulan de manera muy cómoda los videos, la calidad de video hacia el exterior e interior del carro es excelente, abarca un tremendo rango al exterior, y lo suficiente al interior. Llego rápido, es el modelo que se indica "Dash cam D30 COOAU", tuve mis dudas en que me llegara una distinta, ya que ni en la propia pagina de la marca de la cámara esta disponible, por esa razón lo dude. La recomiendo a un cien por ciento, la he usado poco, han sido apenas 25 días, pero ha funcionado a la perfección, al encender el carro empieza a funcionar, y al apagarlo, pasa como un minuto y se apaga, tiene diferentes funciones que también fácilmente se pueden manipular. Super contento con esta compra, hubiese deseado que la cámara fuera ligeramente mas pequeña, pero no es algo que afecte, cuando la gente ve el carro, lo primero que hace es ver la cámara ya que es muy notoria, al estacionarlo en alguna plaza comercial, tiendo a quitarla, cosa que no es cómodo, ya que los robos están al por mayor y quiero evitar rompan un vidrio y me roben mi cámara que tan feliz me tiene y sobre todo por que su costo no es bajo. El audio que graba, si es de baja calidad, y el audio es parte importante en alguna situación en la cual se podría llegar a necesitar como prueba, pero lo que se escucha, pues es aceptable de alguna manera. No duden en pedirla, es mas que necesaria en los tiempos que vivimos, ya que un video o incluso un audio, podría evitarnos muchos problemas, para demostrar lo contrario.
