First, understand that I bought this for occasional use on minor jobs - smoothing edges of cut wood, etc. I did not buy it as a hard working DIY tool for (e.g. rubbing down when decorating).The cordless feature was essential for my application. I can easily pick it up and use it anywhere without the need for cables, etc. It can be used at moment notice without preparation - I can even take it into the garden. This works well. The comfort of use is not so good as I might have hoped but is more than adequate for my needs The dust extraction facility is, so far, untested because of the minor nature of the tasks to which I put it.Spare sanding sheets are not listed on Amazona and the supplier does not offer then (I asked ) but after a bit of a search I found some on Amazon that had nearly the right pattern of extraction holes (though it would not have mattered for my purpose) - certainly near enough. I used SIQUK but I suspect that any with that visual pattern of holes would be OK.Overall, I am delighted with the item for my application and my star rating reflects that - it does not mean that I consider it to be as good as a 'quality' branded product - but it might be!

works well, it fits in the hand very well and is comfortable. the battery doesn't last a long time but charging is fairly quick. you get several spare sand papers so that's a bonus

A very useful piece of kit. It’s light, compact and efficient. Used it to prep walls before painting and it carried out the job perfectly.

I only used this product twice. The first time, I didn't even exhaust the battery. The second time (after about 20 minutes (on and off) the battery was exhausted, but after recharging it would not work. Checked battery - three green light. Checked connections - fine. Just did not work. Too late to send back...

Only used it once but easy to use, as a decorator I hope to use it daily. Great tool

Not bad, for the price but you only get one battery...it is a bit unmanageable and loud, but does the job you don't need to 'press on' hold lightly it does the job on its own.no tool bag either to hold the kit. :(Addition to my review is:You cannot get Any sandpaper sheets off AMAZON to fit. i.e. 14 holes. and NOT available on Galax Pro shop.... So reduced to 3 stars now.2024 march 6thmore information uprated again to 4 stars;As did the whole of my upstairs sanding down of glossed doors and skirtings. no problems, I see you can get spare batteries now on Amazon, no spare sanding sheets or dust bags though.seriously need two dustbags.as I wash mine under the tap when I empty the dust out. also find it is a good idea to 'tap' the sander with a paintbrush handle or something to get the dust out of the machine, and then hoover it out.other than that, great, got used to the noise now.
