HQ ISSUE Talos 8” Men’s Side Zip Waterproof Tactical Boots, Military Combat Hiking Shoes

I really like this boot but only gave it 4 stars because the first day that I wore them on a rainy wet day in the turkey woods they leaked. Just a little bit but still... I dried them for 2 days and then added 2 coats of a name brand silicone waterproofer. After that they were EXCELLENT!If they had not leaked the first day I would easily give 5 stars. They have excellent ankle support over broken ground. Now that they are fuuly water proof I love them!

I bought these for my husband a d a gift. He often works outside in all types of weather. He recently wore through a 15 hour work day in snow and freezing rain. He cannot stop talking about how great these boots are.

The boots feel great, no major issues with the overall "out of the box" quality. I found, to my dismay, that they are larger than the size 13s I normally wear (see pics; My black pair are 5.11s.). Also, the toes on the sage boots seem to be two (slightly) different shapes. This could just a production variation within the standard variations allowable by the company, but something worth noting.

These are the only boots my Husband will buy and wear. He works on a farm, so he walks a lot in the mud, water, hard ground, sand. You name it!! He also loves to go hunting in them says that they have all the support he needs, and would recommend them to anyone. The zipper on the side is easy to use, he has never had a problem with it busting. He wears them every day, so at least once a year I have to reorder.

I was very skeptical about waterproof boots for under $70,however I'm here to tell you these absolutely knocked it out of the park!I decided to test these out on a nice 13km hike. Not super intense, but gave a taste of everything Oklahoma has to offer. I submerged them past the ankle in both water and mud while staying completely dry.There is definitely a break in period, but my feet feel fine especially after a 8 mile hike in brand new boots.I will definitely be updating the review as I use them, but so far have exceeded my expectations.

Awesome boot. I use for airsoft. Super comfortable. Waterproof, handles mud and dirt real well. Can run around in all day.

Really liked this boot except for a seam against my ankle that wasn't padded enough. Maybe just the way it fit me, but I had to return them .

These boots fit great and are well-made. I love the side zippers which make it easy to put on and take off. They are so comfortable, I don't think about my feet all day long.
