You have to know how the wiring runs inside of your house to be able to install these correctly. My lights are all wired between the switches and not in series after the switches, so I had to adjust the instructions for it. Very good switches for the price, just figure out the wiring without blindly trying different combinations.

Best product and well built

These are just what I needed. I love the ease of installation and setup of the wireless connection.

I started upgrading all my plugs and switches to the more modern decor one and found that 2 of my existing switches were 4 way. I used this as a replacement and worked as intended. What I didn't like about these was the cover because they are small and do not complete the modern look of the switch at all.

I should have listened to the negative reviews. However, I wanted these switches to match the other ones that I had already installed. These four-way switches are junk. The black screw on one wasn't attached to the back plate and just fell out. And even though this is the same white as all the other switches I've used the color is slightly off. With the second of the two switches I tried every possible wiring orientation of the four wires, all traveler wires, and no combination would make the switch work correctly. I installed another brand a four-way switch and it worked perfectly the first time. I guess I won't be buying anymore of this brand.

For those who are not electrically savvy, a few tips. This 4 way switch is not labeled with in and out terminals like other 4 way switches are. I was replacing a beige 4 way switch which was labeled IN on one side and OUT on the other and I was very careful to put the wires in the exact same position on the new switch as where they were on the old switch. Well, the circuit would only work with the toggle in one position. After having to go out and purchase a digital multimeter it turns out that the IN for this switch is on the top and the OUT is on the bottom. Also, because (and I agree with other posters) it’s so hard to get the wires around the screws I thought I’d feed the wires into the back and clamp them by tightening the screws. Hooked everything up the correct way and the switch didn’t work still. I was devastated (and 6 days into my 1/2 hour project!) And then I noticed that one of the wires had pulled out. So I don’t know if it would work with another size wire but feeding the wires into the back didn’t work for mine. Fought with the wires a bit to get them around the screws by twisting the switch so the loosened screws would hang down, and finally managed to get the thing connected and finally working. I got it to work and hopefully these tips help but this product is probably not for a beginner like myself.

Good switch, especially for the price. It took about 10 min to install. I haven't experience any issues with getting wires in as did others. The trick is to keep slight pressure on the screw after unscrewing it, so that it stays open. If possible ask someone to push the wire in while you hold the screw, it will make things so much easier.

Install was quick and painless. Wiring diagram is a bit confusing. Coloured instructions, or a link/QR code to coloured instructions would be nice. This switch cost a bit over one third of the price of a 3-Way switch I bought at Canadian Tire. Switch cover didn't cover entire light switch, likely just a small manufacturing defect. Slightly warped. It's fine, used the original cover. Light switch itself is more stiff and noisy than previous switch, but good for its price.

This 4-way switch works perfectly to control a single light, or a bank of lights, with three switches placed in different locations. It is a great choice if you have three entries to an area and you need a switch at each entry point. This 4-way switch goes between the two 3-way switches at each end of the circuit, so that the two traveller wires from each 3-way switch go to this switch. The screws on this switch are colour coded in brass or dark, Each traveller pair goes to one brass and one dark. There are no instructions included, but the information about how to connect this switch and how to wire the circuit is readily available on the internet. Since this is a two-pack, you can also set up the arrangement so that four switches control one light in case you need that.

This is a good value switch but the instructions are WRONG and the screw terminals coloring make NO SENSE. CORRECT INSTALLATION: The side with the ground (green screw) is for the travellers (red wires). The other side is for the load (black wires). Ignore the terrible, incorrect instructions - or check out the instructions that I correctly labeled. (1 is the load, 2 is the travellers). The switch has a brass screw and a black screw on each side. Normally, the screws are color coded. But except for the green ground, the colors mean nothing here. We wasted a lot of time with this installation because we followed the instructions and the colored screw conventions. Sigh On the bright side. They do work and were inexpensive for a 4 way switch.

Excellent product installation went well. We can now turn one light on in three different locations.
