Hunter 52 inch Indoor Ceiling Fan with LED Lights and Pull Chain - Standard Mount Ceiling Fan, 5 Blades, For Bedroom, Living Room, or Kitchen, Quiet - Studio Series 53064, Brushed Nickel

I purchased this Hunter fan to replace the ceiling fan in my study - we've been in this ten year old house for just over a year, and I was not happy with the fan or with the lighting it provided. It also was making some noise at high speed, suggesting that the motor bearings might be wearing out. I chose this Hunter fan mostly because it includes a light fixture with 4 lamps pointing downwards into the room, and I thought that would provide the best choice for lighting. The fan diameter, 52", is the same as the fan it replaced. I was impressed by the quality of the fan during installation - the assembly is intelligently designed to make it as easy as possible to install on the ceiling, the ceiling bracket has rubber bumpers where it fits against the ceiling, the fan blades are attached using rubber grommets, wiring is straightforward, and the packaging even includes a few extra parts as spares. Compared to the fan I removed, the assembly is considerably better designed. The fan blades are different shades of stain on the two sides so you can chose which one you prefer. I have Philips Hue LED smart bulbs installed in my fan, giving me greater control over the lighting and at highest intensity the lighting in my study is just what I was looking for. The fan itself is quiet and powerful, noticeably better than the older fan I replaced. In all respects I'm fully satisfied with this fan and happy with the choice I've made.

This Hunter ceiling fan is very well made and the antique brass is complimentary to the room decor. It is very quiet when it is running. The four 40 watt soft white bulbs provide adequate lighting. I replaced a 27-year-old Hunter ceiling fan with this new one. Hunter fans are quiet, dependable, and well made. This fan is not a flush mount, and is about two inches from the ceiling. Luckily I have enough ceiling clearance for it in the room. I will continue to buy Hunter fans. They are a quality made product and last for years. The fan arrived in excellent condition. I am very pleased with my purchase.

This is an amazingly beautiful fan, looks good, runs quiet, very good quality...but there is one issue....the wires coming out of the main assembly were only about 3 feet long!.....the extension pole that was recommended for this product was 4 feet. My electrician had to cut the wires from the old fan assembly and solder them to the new wires to make them long enough to thread through the extension rod and complete the wiring of the assembly to the control in the ceiling. He said he has NEVER seen wires for a ceiling fan so short. And I am unsure why Hunter would recommend an extension pole to be compatible with the fan, if it is longer than the wires supplied to thread through it. Hunter, please make your ceiling fan wired at least 2 feet longer!

Don’t open any of the plastic bags inside that hold screws/parts u til you read the directions - each bag is marked & they hold specific parts for each step so don’t get them mixed together! Some of the screws are really tiny so make a point of trying to hold on to them - if you drop them, they may disappear. They do have a few extras of some of the items in a separate bag but just be careful - I found that using a Philips head screwdriver with a MAGNETIC TIP was a HUGE plus! If you don’t have one of those this would be a great time to invest in one!! Directions were easy to follow, they have video tutorials to watch for each step so just take your time & review those as you go along. I was able to install this by myself but it would be easier to have an extra set of hands to keep from going up & down the ladder so many times. Finished product looks great, works great, moves hella air. Price on Amazon was the best I could find & with the LED bulbs, I shouldn’t have to replace those for a LONG, LONG time. Am hoping I can get a good 15 yrs out of this but we’ll see. I will likely buy more of this model to replace others in my house now that I’ve done it & know what it entails, should go easier/faster, not that the install was especially challenging or anything. Totally doable for someone with average homeowner skills - the wiring was very simple & straightforward, not a big deal at all & that’s what I was most leery about! Don’t let that dissuade you, it’s quite simple - just remember to turn the circuit breaker off that controls that light fixture before you wade into this project. Also, if you don’t have a lot of ambient light in the room where you’re doing this - you may want to have an extra portable light source so you can clearly see what you’re doing while installing this!

In 2005 I bought a new home and installed six hunter ceiling fans. When I sold it in 2018, all six were still working flawlessly. The replacement home had ceiling fans in the master bedroom, living, & dining rooms & while they were not Hunters, they appear to have been working flawlessly since the home was built in 1993 & I'm not one to mess with success. For some reason the second bedroom was fan-less, so I installed this Hunter & as expected, it's working fine & the room is much more comfortable. One not-minor install problem was there was no ceiling joist close to where the fan should be & the way my ceiling was designed, top access to install something strong was impossible. So I cut a hole in the ceiling, measured to the nearest ceiling joists, designed a support that rested on both joists & the ceiling drywall, slid it thru the expanded hole along with a lot of glue, & let it dry overnight. Should last as long as the house... Hunter has changed the ceiling bracket design & it is much easier to install. After the mount is screwed into the ceiling, one just sets the fan into it. It's well over 120F in my Phoenix AZ attic, so I'm waiting until December to run the permanent wiring... 7/18/2019 update: ran the permanent wiring in late November & now the installation looks professional. ...but the fan developed an annoying clicking noise. I took it apart, couldn't find anything that looked like the noise source, put it back together, & the noise was gone. Several months latter, it's back, & it's definitely annoying. 7/27/2019 update: called Hunter Warranty Service, they said this was covered under their lifetime warranty, all was needed was my name/address & a proof of purchase. While we were talking they sent an email to attache the POP to, I cut/pasted it from my Amazon orders & emailed it back before we were thru talking. Quick & easy. A whole new ceiling fan was shipped out that day, it arrived today, I replaced the motor (everything else was OK), put ticker in the box, & dropped it off at FedEx with the prepaid shipping label Hunter emailed. No Ticking. Hunter really believes in happy customers & I'm one of them. 7/15/2023 update: Still working flawlessly & no ticking! 2/15/2025 update: Still working flawlessly & no ticking! Highly Recommended.

Great fan, exactly what I expected from a Hunter fan. I can't hear any noise from the fan motor at any speed setting, only the "whoosh" of air sound on medium and high. From the description and reviews I wasn't sure what light bulb type it would use. I was pleased when it arrived and had 4 standard base 7W (40 Watt equivalent) LED bulbs included. It will work with either LED's or incandescent. It does take a while to install because of all the parts, so allow yourself at least a couple of hours. I switched the short downrod that it came with it to a 3' down rod since the room has a 12' ceiling. After installing there was a slight wobble in the fan. It wasn't much even on high, but I decided to see if I could improve it. (A blade balancing kit and instructions was included in the box with the fan.) I was skeptical, but I followed the directions and 20 minutes later, no more wobble, even with the 3' downrod, at high or low speed. The only negative is that there is a significant difference between the medium speed and the slow speed. I wish there was another speed between those.

Gorgeous, elegant, classic. Exactly as pictured. Looks great in the living room. Electrician installed a Hunter wall-mounted remote control kit, but it only turns the lights and fan on and off. It doesn't change the speed of the fan or the brightness of the lights. Bummer.

I purchased this fan as I wanted a Hunter, white, 52 inch fan with 4 lights. Absolutely perfect.

I ve got the product and it ran for 10 mins. I contacted the seller and he informed me its US product and need converter which seems none of the electricians knows in UAE. The seller finally informed me to contact the manufacturer :). Just be careful before buying this as you will be left with a useless fan.

We've had this fan for a few months now. Very pleased with it. Smooth install. Straight forward well presented instructions. We had to look for awhile to find one of these, but it was worth it.
