These turned out to be the perfect Christmas gift for an 11-year-old boy whose parents had banned him from any electronic gifts. Thought it would be difficult to find something he enjoyed, but not only did he play with him Christmas Day, just about every adult took their turn, trying to master it Definitely kept everyone’s attention. Very nice quality and very good looking. Makes them hard to pass up when you walk by like that there were two of them as grandson was able to take one home and leave one here with us. We keep it on the coffee table, and I am amused at how many people pick it up and give their try at it.!

The kids loved the toys. Hey seem to be good quality, well made except for the string. The blue one’s string came out of the ball on the first try. I repaired it with glue and a wooden toothpick. He tried it again and the string came out of the handle part. We were able to replace it and tie a larger knot. My 8 year old said “it’s just inferior workmanship,the boss probably doesn’t know”! Lol

I got this for my nephew as a Christmas present and he loved it! I have never seen him freak out over something until I got him this. He loved the design and the colors. He even gave them nicknames... lol. It’s only been a few days but so far they seem pretty durable. I have no complaints and they gave a child a smile, so I say they are worth it!Ooh yeah, they came pretty fast during the holidays which was a surprise to me because some of our gifts didn’t show or the dates were being pushed back.

Kendamas are nice, shipped fast. The paint is a little thin and chipped on one of the cups almost immediately. The nature of the toy I expected some chipping just not on the first time using it. Overall we are pleased

These are great for entry level users. After a few days the knots pulled through and separated the けん from the たま. Also the paint is chipping off a very little bit. A problem that may be unique to our item is the ball has been drilled funny and the string is wearing away at an accelerated rate. That being said, these are still a great value and can be repaired with better strings.

The design if ok except the string is so weak it cant support the weight of the ball and replacing the string is almost impossible without the tiniest long needle you have to buy somewhere else cause you probably dont have such tools
