I have been using the antenna for about 30 days and am happy with the results
I chose this type of antenna because I didn't want to cut a hole in my cover. And I got tired of remobingbthe antenna every time I covered my bike. And since I am not an avid user of the radio I decided that that the possible loss in receiving range would be worth it.Installation was a snap. It requires the removal of the outer shell of the fairing. And there are several videos on YouTube if you need help. The instructions that came with the antenna are simple and concise. In 15 minutes I had it installed and working.I have been using the antenna for about 30 days and am happy with the results. Since I live near a large metro area I haven't had the opportunity to determine if I lost any reception yet. As far as I can tell I can see no difference from the stock antenna.,

Decent antenna for the price
Works good. Not great, but good enough to get most stations. Wx band seems to work decent too. For the price and the simple install (once I removed the batwing), I’m happy enough to not mess with it. Install took about 45-60mins from start, testing and everything was buttoned up.

easy install on 2008 Harley Ultra Classic
Installed on 2008 Harley Ultra. Install was easy. So far its ok, reception doesn't seem quite as good as formal antennas, but, works decent so far. Will update if anything changes. They do send the 5 little white clips for sticking it to the outer fairing, I chose to zip tie it to the inner area so I dont have to unplug the radio each time I remove the outer fairing cover.

J&M Audio hidden antenna
This hidden antenna replaced my stock antennas on my Harley & works as good if not better than stock. Would recommend this item as it works as claimed.

Easy install
Quality and fit is excellent, directions clearly show how to mount it with the included mounting tabs, but you are left on your own to figure out how to remove the outer fairing. Not to worry, go to you tube and you will find detailed instructions, very easy, I had the whole thing done start to finish in 30 min. You will lose reception quality especially in rural areas, but I bought it more for aesthetics and plug in my phone to the auxiliary jack and listen to my own music anyway.

I was skeptical as I have the CB in-fairing antenna ...
I was skeptical as I have the CB in-fairing antenna. It is ok considering that it is inside of the fairing. I decided to try this FM antenna because I have a Class D amp that wasn't allowing any signal to get to the radio. I have to say with this antenna, I am now able to get some radio stations. Before I was not getting anything. Although I only get the strongest stations, I do get some stations.

Works fine, but if you have a GPS, be advised....
It picks up a lot of interference on the AM band when I have my Garmin Zumo 665 turned on. The satellite radio receiver must be causing the problem, because if I turn off my GPS, AM radio works fine. The little clips that come with it that are used to secure the antenna inside the fairing are cheap, and I broke about half of them trying to get them to hold the antenna in place. Overall, AM aside, it works great.

Easy installation.
Nothing to dislike, follow instructions. I put this in a 2006 H/D bagger.

Mounted on my Street Glide
Nicely made, fit well inside the Harley fairing but as others have said it doesn't offer same reception as the stock rear antenna.
