Great tent
Wonder full tent for a single person. Roomy enough for you and your gear. Took it to Nevada and stood up to rain storms and wind. Good ventilation as well

Solid tent
I took this camping this last weekend and experienced everything from heat, torrential downpour and freezing cold weather and this tent exceeded my expectations and not only kept me dry in the rain. It kept me cool in the heat and it held a good bit of heat too highly recommend

Impressed with the product.
The media could not be loaded. I bought this tent because I wanted something sturdy and windproof to handle the cold weather when winter overlanding through Death Valley and Mojave. The stitching and material are higher quality than I expected. The tent spikes are 7 in long and 3 rib metal which is better quality than you get with most tents. Everything was stitched very well and seem tape sealed without flaws. There are plenty of tie down locations and decent ventilation flaps on top for when you want it. The rain cover has velcro tabs on the inside to attach it to the poles for extra stability. I haven't had a chance to test it camping overnight but I am confident this tent will hold up well in the rain, wind and cold. The cover is thick enough to keep the warmth in and it goes all the way to the ground where you can spike it down to keep out crosswind. To lay four people in it they would have to snuggle closely but definitely a 1 - 3 max person tent. One person plus room for plenty of gear or two plus gear would be ok, three people you probably have to keep most the gear outside. It's not too heavy and it rolls up to about a 15 x 7 inch sack. One could definitely carry it back packing if you knew you were going into cold weather and we're just doing a hunting or fishing Basecamp. But it is definitely not an ultra-light tent for long distance or summer camping tent. The tent would be literally perfect if the spikes were 9 inches. In the sand or rocky terrain 7 inch spikes are too short. You need at least 9 to12 inch spikes to hold ground and still have enough on the surface keep the footings held down. Also If the velcro on the top vents went all the way across the vent opening allowing you to completely seal it down, this would be great. In a strong cold wind I like to seal up the side of the vent that faces the wind keep cold air from being pushed in.Follow up: 11/29/23: I've used this tent several times now in Nevada, Death Valley, and the Sierra's during the colder months. Temps down in the 20s with stiff winds. The tent has done very well. I've used several tents and have many. This tent is my go to tent now in the winter.

Superb build quality. Sealed seams, 15 tent spikes, comfortable 110" X 82" footprint, full size fly
This is the best build quality for a packable tent I've seen ever. Lovely piece of work. Add a thin 8x10 ground tarp and you're up to 10 pounds for total backpack burden. Certainly doable for hiking, going at a moderate pace. Two sleeping bags fit comfortably. Built in pockets serve as convenient storage for food, water, a camp stove. If you need to accommodate 3 - 4 - 5 children, I'd consider buying two of these MT066 models rather than getting into the hassles of packing and then securing a full size tent. Securing tall tents against wind gusts is not for the faint of heart. In addition: Amazon seems to miss with one part of the ad copy for this item. The footprint is indeed 110" by 82".

Lack of solid door panels
Mesh doors should have solid zippable layer behind them - aside from letting in too much air, in dusty climates (where I used it) the dust comes in under the vestibules and accumulates quickly in the tent. The tent stakes leave a little bit to be desired as far as indentions to retain guy lines, and the plastic guy lines tensioners are annoying. It was a great tent for the one time I used it, but will probably look for one to replace it that has solid panels to keep dust/wind out and retain more heat.

Three season not four season
The Camppal tent is a very nice three season tent. I recommend it. However, with so much mesh on the inner tent it won't be as warm as my smaller tent that has more solid inner walls and doors that have a zippered inner lining over the exterior mesh. It should not be sold as a 4-season tent.

1st 4-Season tent….
Pros-Easy to put up and tear down.- Easy to put back in the storage bag.-Nice aluminum poles that should last a long time.-Large rain fly that should keep rain out no matter the angleCons:-Main door zipper gets stuck every time I use it.- The two vents are really nice for bringing cool air in, but I was pretty cold at night in early spring. I closed the vents the next night and it was ok. I question what that would be like in the winter.

Good tent, not for 3 people
We like this tent. It goes up easy and seems much more solid for wind and rain than others. The mesh is great and goes down low so you can see out (but maybe wouldn't be so great for a campground without the fly). It's a good design. It says 3-4 people, but it's actually a little bit smaller than most 2 person tents. It could probably use a door mat - underneath ground cover for more protection, but that would add weight to it. It actually fits back in the carrying bag and seems like good quality material, although we'll see how long the zipper lasts (other companies tents haven't done so well on that even when they looked good at first). The stakes are first class. It cost about double what other tents this (reduced) size cost, but I think it will stay up in a strong wind and keep the rain out better.
