Inexpensive Digital Watch
This is a pretty stylish digital watch, with a nice clean 'futuristic' (now retro-futuristic) but no-nonsense face. It's not terribly complicated and does the things a 1985 digital watch ought to do -- time, date, day of the week, backlight, stopwatch, and alarms. It's easy to read day and night. Fit and finish is good. For the price, it's very nice.A watch is a funny thing, because one person's ideal size is way too big for other people. This isn't a huge watch and it's not a tiny one, but it's slightly chunky and heavy. Not in a bad way, but it might bother people who aren't used to wearing a wristwatch or who have previously worn delicate little things. To each their own, but check the measurements in the description.

What more could I want?
This review might not be too helpful so I apologize in advance if my opinion isn't insightful. I haven't worn a digital watch in a very very very long time, I was always more drawn to classy watches that had a unique flair and looked expensive - but something about this watch pulled me. There are two clocks: a digital on bottom and an analog-digital above. Features also include a stopwatch, an alarm, chime on/off, and SIX backlight colors - red, blue, green, yellow, purple, and regular white lighting. The band is slightly wider than your average band, but not nearly wide enough to be labeled as a cuff/bracelet. The band is also studded as can be seen in the stock photo and the material of the band is of very high quality. The glossy plastic boarder surrounding the face of the watch looks a little cheap, but I tend to think glossy plastic looks cheap in general so my judgement could be off - especially because the watch looks very sturdy and durable overall. There are four buttons, stylishly placed and not too intruding. The button controls are my only annoyance, but these things always take a little getting used to. The only real frustration with the button controls is the upper right button which controls the analog-digital clock - it controls the minute hand alone and I would need to press it repeatedly for 1-2 minutes in order to complete a full rotation of the clock (something I was forced to do when I mistakenly pressed the button too many times and overshot the accurate time). But my favorite thing about this watch is something I mentioned at the beginning of this review - it pulls me. I feel so pleased with this watch and so excited to wear it that it's almost silly to feel this way about a watch. Kinda like when you get a gift you actually like. What more could I want when buying anything?Anyway, I hope this review was helpful. I highly recommend this watch, certainly for such a low price ($12). Oh and I love the different colors of the backlight.

Great Watch, Low Price
I purchased this watch for a trip to Europe. I wanted a watch that was inexpensive in case it was ripped off, damaged, or stolen. What I received was a watch that allowed me to keep track of time back at home and the time in my current location with a quick glance at my wrist. I also love the fact the watch is water-proof. This came in handy in Paris where it rained everyday AND allowed me to keep track of time while I was in the Blue Lagoon in Iceland. The color led lights are fun, but I didn't use the feature very often. While this sounds like a 5-star review, I gave it 4-stars because of a couple issues. The first issue--The hands are controlled by the button found at 2:00. Because of this placement, I found the hands in the wrong position several times because of the way I use my hands. Once this happens, you have to go move forward +/- 12 hours to get it back into the correct position. It would be nice if the action required multiple actions to change the time (e.g. hold button 1 an 4). The second complaint I have is more of a personal complaint. My skin reacts to the metal used for the buttons. This isn't a huge deal as I just need to remember not to leave it on indefinitely. Lastly, the directions were a bit of a bear to understand. Once you get the hang of it, it becomes intuitive. Overall, it's a great watch for the price.

Decent watch but doesn't handle stress well
Using a five star system (*Atrocious, **Poor, ***Decent, ****Good, *****Excellent):Ease of use: **** Good(–1 star because the buttons are easy to accidentally press if you're doing heavy manual labor)Durability: **(–3 stars because the straps came off under a lot of stress, and I wish the glass screen were more deeply inset in metal and protected)Elemental resistance: ***(–2 stars because there seems to be enough of a gap around the buttons to let water in; watch appears to be non-submersible)Fits my style and design preferences: **** (–1 star because a leather and metal link option for straps should be given, IMO)Backlight quality and brightness: ***** (Note that there are multiple colors of light, incl. green, red, blue, and purple)Overall: ***If I worked in an office or some other place where rough, heavy manual labor were not usually a concern, then this watch would be great. If you have a lifestyle where this watch won't be under great physical stress, then I recommend it. But if you're often lifting, twisting, pulling, pushing, etc. during hard labor, this watch may not stand up to much jostling around. I was lifting an object about 30 lbs or so from above my head and part of the item pushed the watch up my arm while twisting it sideways somewhat. The watch fell off my arm, and upon closer inspection the straps had actually been pulled off under stress. I couldn't get the straps back on myself due to the small spring-loaded parts; I had to ask the jewelry associates at Walmart to fix it. It's all right now, but that experience soured my opinion of this watch's durability. For its other qualities, I like it. I'll keep it, but if I know I'm going to a job site where there's a lot of stressful physical labor, I'll be wearing something else.
