Use these 1meg pots on several guitar mods! None of the pots have given me problems, not "scratchy" at all, the taper is exactly what I am looking for, and they have all had very reliable values (for the price.) Have not made it all the way through the bag, but I've used about five of them and would trust buying other values of pot through this brand at this point.

I make small circuits on open circuit boards - and these small pots are perfect for that. They are relatively accurate; smooth turning; and small enough to minimize board footprint !! Also very inexpensive

The body on these are smaller than the standard pots of old but the shafts are the same so knobs will still work. The body size really doesn't matter much and makes for more room when installing.

Good thing they were inexpensive. About half of them were open and would not register any resistance at all. The others were all intermittent. I needed 2 in a pinch and they got me through that. When I finished up my project I threw them all in the trash. I was done messing with them to the point of not wanting to spend another minute of my time on them. Garbage all the way!

I had seen som comments which complained about the actuator length of 15mm. I think this is being confused with shaft length.Actuator length is the distance traveled when turning the actuator. With testing, the actuator moves 298 degrees. The actuator or shaft diameter is 6mm. The distance the actuator travels is indeed 15mm.The shaft length is also 15mm with 7.5mm from the middle to the top and the middle to the bottom. This gives 7.5mm for the nut to tighten to a given frame (less the thickness of the frame) and 7.5mm to attach a dial. The resistance is also as stated. This is as solid as any potentiometer I have used over the years. Hope this helps.

When first received I tested 3 pot and got zero reading. Thought about my results and retested found had meter at wrong setting. Sorry for first review!

Artikel entspricht nicht der Abbildung ! Welle ist kürzer als die in der Abbildung.Auch die Angebe von "15 mm Actuator Length " ist irreführend. Die Zeichnung mit Angebe "L" ist nicht zu finden.Leider sind die nicht zu gebrauchen und gehen leider zurück.

These puppies saved my daughter's ring light since the original mechanism went caput to turn on and off her light. The only thing is though, these arent dimmers, lime her original. Meh, she's just happy to have her light back :)
