These are perfect for beginners

I purchased a 2011 BMW Z4. The car was full of splattered bugs, baked in water marks and scratches. I washed, used clay bar and used both Swirl Killers to do the job. The polishers did an excellent job. Although there were a couple of scratches that the polisher didn’t remove, they worked out wonderfully.My only con is that the smaller polisher doesn’t have variable speeds. If it had at least slow and fast I’d like it more so I took off one star. Not a big deal, but just saying.Took it to the BMW dealer to buy antenna parts, the guys there were very impressed. The car does look amazing now. Night and day. The polishers were a joy to use, even though I lost five pounds of sweat. Living in South Florida in the summer is brutal. My cars are all garage kept though.NOTE: I read a lot of people complaining about the hold button and how it unlocks. For me it wasn’t an issue. Just hold it properly/correctly and you won’t have a problem.

good power and easy to use

If you use the polisher as it comes from the box, your wrists are gonna suffer. What I did was disassemble it, degrease it, and put on new and better grease. The vibration diminished but is still there.Overall, a decent product for the money you pay.

The 15mm full-sized polisher is good with enough power to do any type of correction. The 15mm stroke makes quick work of large panels. The speed dial is also located in a good location for easy access. The trigger, on the other hand, is not. I found myself accidentally starting or stopping the polisher. The trigger is way too large.The 12mm mini polisher leaves some things to be desired. It does not have enough power to keep going when more pressure and cutting is needed. You probably won't notice the lack of power until you need it. The speed dial is also in an awkward location, having to take your eyes off of the car's surface.
