Bread warmer
I ordered this to help keep tortillas/bread warm. It seems to work really well. I can place it in the tortilla warmer at the bottom or in a bread basket and it helps to keep it very warm!

Works as expected
Love the stone doesn't stay warm very long but I have a very large Bread Basket I thought this Stone was a lot larger so if you have a large Bread Basket you will need at least two I just hated them up in the oven and wrap them in a rag and put them in the bottom of the Bread Basket they only keep the bread warm approximately 15 minutes though

It's OK but not great...
I really like the concept of this stone warmer, but it didn't perform as well as I'd hoped. It was fairly inexpensive at about $6. It is really easy to use and keeps bread/rolls warmer for longer, but only for about 15-20 minutes longer than if I'd used no warming stone at all. I even wrap the rolls in several cloth napkins with the stone in attempts to seal in as much heat as possible. I will continue to use it because it's definitely better than using nothing at all. I just wish it emitted enough heat to keep items warm throughout the meal.

Bread Warmer, sure! Tortilla Warmer, DEFINITELY!
I added this to a pine needle tortilla warming basket and used it as a white elephant gift and it was most coveted! Who doesn't love a warm tortilla and this is perfect....heat the warmer in the oven while you do tortillas stovetop, on the grill, or in the oven and toss them in the pine needle warming basket and once the stone is warm place it inside as well and keep adding warm tortillas and covering! Delish!

very disappointing, not as advertised
Product info says it's 4.75 in diameter and 0.5 in thick. It only measures 4.5 in diameter and 0.375 (3/8) in thick. That may not sound like a lot, but it makes a big difference in how much heat it can hold and how long it can hold it. I'm wondering if the dimensions are before it was fired? It surely shrinks in firing. But it is unethical to give those dimensions. The dimensions should be for the finished product. I will probably keep it and use it but only until I can find another better one which is bigger and can hold more heat. Be warned.

These really do work. I lost my others in the move so had to have some more. Really good

Much smaller than expected, but still good.

I have an older bread warmer from Fox Run. It is bigger and thicker than the current version so the new one will not hold the heat as long. It is also not as well packaged; my original bread warmer came in a bubble wrap bag, but the newer version does not -- it rattles around in its flimsy cardboard box. Still, it will work, but not as well and the quality is inferior. I would buy it again simply because the price is the most reasonable of the ones featured.

26 bucks for a ceramic disk smaller than a dvd. Read the size closely ... for folded tortillas ... rolling my eyes on this one.
