Nordic Ware Natural Aluminum Commercial Cake Pan with Lid, Rectangle Pan with Lid Silver, 9 x 13

I really love this cake pan for baking brownies and cakes. It doesn't rust since it's not steel and things bake really well in it! I especially love the lid it comes with as I can easily access what I've made on the counter without needing to fiddle with plastic wrap.

I have probably use this cake pan about 10 times and have never had a cake stick to it. I spray it with baking spray as directed . A box cake fits in it very well and the lid keeps it fresh. I have a plastic cake server from my old cake pan and that is the only thing that I use to cut my cake and serve it so I don’t have to worry about scratches. It’s easy to wash, I hand wash it and let it air dry. It’s rare that I use my dishwasher so I can’t let you know how that would work out.Yes, I highly recommend this brand of bakeware. In fact, I have cookie sheets also and I love them!

These are quality made, bakeware pans. Very satisfied with them. Worth every penny that they cost.

The lid could fit better but the pan is awesome.

Had to bake a honey bun cake for my son for Fathers Day.. I really am impressed with this, easy to use, bakes evenly and really love the top for transporting and storage.. The price is a great value.. Will probably another as I bake a lot especially for holidays....

I bought several pans at once and this annoying review system doesn't show enough of the ad to tell which one is which. So I guess I will copy n paste the same review on all of them.Anyway (aside from the large 2" deep one arriving with some weird cologne-like smell on it that so far refuses to wash off), I have been happy with the pans. I used to use a pyrex lasagne pan for brownies and put parchment over flaky old teflon cookie sheets... finally snapped and decided I deserve proper baking equipment.And I made a good choice! I have cooked naan pizzas on the cookie sheets, and spinach pastries that oozed cheese and egg juices, really tough baked-on crud is my point... and after a brief soak the pans come perfectly clean! I've only baked cake in the deeper pans so there wouldn't be any scrubbing involved anyway, but I was pleased with how readily the cake popped out of the pan. It seems aluminum is just as stick resistant as teflon, though so much safer. I only wish I had switched earlier!Safety note: acidity is what makes metal leach into food, so I do not intend to use these for lasagne, fruit crisp or other acidic foods. I will keep my pyrex dish for that.I saw people in the questions asking about water in the rim. I regret to inform you that yes, water catches in the rim. I don't see a way to avoid that outside of sealing it with a weld, which would be costly. Just slosh it in a sink of nice fresh rinse water so it's at least clean water trapped in there, not gross old dishwater, and then leave it to drip/air dry for a few hours face down, then a few hours face up, and the water does go away. It's not that big a deal.No sharp or rough surfaces to catch food or scratch your hands.Thick enough to resist warping.Good products!

Well built pan. Nice lid also. Haven't used yet, but am sure it will do everything she asks of it!
