This bracket is made to handle the heaviest and largest of jobs, because of the vertical angle welded in place. It is ideal for interior and exterior applications as it is made of steel material painted with our Rust-Inhibitor Paint. This bracket is designed to mount into wooden studs or the equivalent, from the front, to support a shelf or countertop. How to determine what size bracket: The bracket will be mounted to the outside of a wall or cabinet. Measure the depth of the shelf or countertop you are mounting and subtract 2-4 inches from that number. For example, if your shelf or countertop has a depth of 22 inches, subtract 3 inches to get 19 inches. This subtraction is to stay away from the outer edge of the countertop, which is usually 2-4 inches. Since your measurement is 19 inches, you will order a 20x10 Large Shelf Bracket. Poor quality control.
I had been hoping to use this bracket to support one end of a wall-mounted solid oak desk, but unfortunately, the piece I received was bent slightly. So I mounted it to the wall, but it curved down and away from the desk, making it useless. There was about half of an inch of a gap between the desk and the end of this bracket because of that curve. It's sitting in my garage until I find a use for it one day, if ever.

Strong and unobtrusive
I have a heavy sculpture that sits on a heavy wooden shelf. It hangs over the dog door in the sunroom. I needed something really strong, that would "disappear." Two of these brackets are perfect. They are mounted to studs and aren't going anywhere!

The perfect support bracket for our large quartzite counter.
This bracket appears to be very sturdy. I can’t comment on the level of difficulty to install as we let the contractor do that for us.

Great awning brackets too.
The brackets were heavy duty enough for my application. They solved the head space problem there is only nine inches from the top of the doors to the soffit. No more raining down your back unlocking the door.

I think I could rebuild an engine block on my new countertops. These things are rock solid, and look great, too!
