Love this matcha! I’ve tried a lot and searched for ones that don’t have added sugar, and this one has become my favorite! Can’t recommend enough.

I usually buy the ceremonial matcha, but thought I would try the culinary grade because I was drinking matcha lattes so often. The flavor is really different from the ceremonial. It’s stronger in flavor and more bitter and tastes worse than the ceremonial. I will finish what I have, but I will be going back to the ceremonial. If you haven’t had the ceremonial matcha, then the culinary grade might taste fine to you. Just having had both, the ceremonial is the way to go.

I normally hate giving out negative reviews but just thought people should know that this powder gave me diarrhea.In order to test this, I specifically consumed it with my regular foods, which I know for sure will not interfere with my digestion. And it gave me diarrhea or stomach pain, every, single, time. And this is also not my first matcha powder, so I know I’m usually good with a typical Matcha powder.People, be cautious when buying food online.

I'm big on matcha, I make lattes almost everyday and have tried many brands. I dont need the highest quality or ceremonial type, so culinary grade usually works just great for me. However with this one, I'm not sure what it is, but I'm not a big fan. The taste isnt amazing. It's a little gritty which is fine. But i didnt get a whole lot of energy from it and most importantly why I'm not a fan, it gave me stomachaches when I drank it. I have never experienced that with any matcha before. And I tried this one out quite a few times to make sure it wasnt something else. Maybe just a bad batch. I can see alot of other people had great reviews so it's something you might have to try for yourself.

Having tried the Soar Organics ceremonial matcha I was curious to try this culinary grade. Of course, it's not on par with the ceremonial, but for a culinary grade I found this matcha to be excellent. Blends easily, smooth taste, certainly some value there based on the price. Good for lattes, which is my personal preference.

It's a well known fact that good matcha is expensive so the price point of this product had my expectations low going in. Having said that, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this matcha powder! Shocked really (in a good way). It blends like a charm and has a very satisfying green tea taste (matcha latte drinker here). If you're matcha bargain hunting on Amazon, like we all are, I recommend giving this matcha a try.
