Good stuff
We have lost good aspects of our culture. Our older generation used to cook in cast iron utensils...this way they got all the iron they needed, without eating meat and torturing innocent chickens.Our current generation has become dumb...they cook in aluminum utensils and take iron pills. It's ridiculous.This is an amazing skillet and I'll surely add more.Stainless steel is all the hype these days but if you ever go to City Palace, Udaipur, you can glimpse what utensils these strong people used. They either used cast iron or copper pots.All our food has been poisoned by the system and hybrid seeds have been introduced. Desi variety of wheat is so good, full of minerals, and less very less gluten content. Similarly, desi rice varieties are greatly nutritious. So all the iron, magnesium, calcium, zinc that used to be present in our diets is now, unfortunately, absent.Thus, in my opinion, everyone should use a cast-iron skillet. At least, you'll get iron this way...without popping pills left and right.

It's a good buy. Totally satisfied..
It's a small and handy cast iron kadai which is ideal for a 4 membered family (2 adults and 2 kids). It's not as heavy as I expected it to be. Seasoning is super easy. one needs to follow the instructions given the catalogue. Season it, keep it over night and next day you can use it. That's what I did myself.

Base is not smooth, so cleaning would be an issue
The inside flat base doesn't have a smooth finish (even the vertical slanting curved surface is fine). The flat base at the bottom is ok too. I don't understand how they give more importance to the bottom side than the inner side (where item is cooked).And is somewhat heavier (mentioned as 1.6kg) than I thought. probably its 2 kg; I didn't measure though. (my previous purchase apam kal is 1.4 kg and is bearable while washing)So I give 3 star.
