Zoo Med Electrolyte Soak, 16 oz.

My bearded dragon loves this electrolyte soak and even liked drinking the water , , only drawback was it said the little measuring cup was included but couldn’t find one in the container but wasn’t much of problem I just used a measuring spoon , but the smell wasn’t that bad at all , and love all the vitamins and other things that are in it making it great for beardies and for the price of the product I figured it would be a small jar but it was bigger than I was expecting which will last quite a while for me !

I was skeptical about buying this soak because either the reviews were great or weren't. I realized why some buyers negatively reviewed this product. One was the packaging. The inner seal is not one of those thick, hard to remove ones but it does the trick for keeping the content inside fresh. The second was that it's half full. True, but I measured mine out and I got more than the 16 oz advertised. It's a bigger container but it's for a reason. Third, the powder is a bit hard but let me remind you it contains oils in it so it binds a bit. No big deal; I mixed it (hence the bigger container) around and had a bunch of loose powder to work with in mere seconds. Last the smell. If you work out and have used protein powder shakes; it smells like that. It's just all the nutrients. Once in the water, you smell nothing. All the bad reviews seem to be based on these reasons. It's sad because this soak is WONDERFUL. My Beardie turned into a new little guy overnight and that's that I was already covering all the care correctly. Still, you miss a lot being a new Beardie Parent. He shedded well, looks vibrant and shiny. He is acting more alert and interactive. All in all a great product that delivers. I hope you get the same results I did. Tip: for a Beardie bath, I filled about a gallon of water and mixed a little less than the top of the scoop. Then I emptied water from our bath container until the desired amount perfect for my little guy. Easy and simple. No risk of over or under doing the amount.

I use this as a weekly soak. Mix 1 teaspoon of powder in 1 gallon of warm water & let your dragon soak for 20 minutes.

I always have this on hand. Hands down the best soak you can buy. Does make your dragon smell a little vitaminy but does wear off.

The product came right on schedule no delays or anything. It's easy directions had me following them in no time, it dissolves into the water fast. My lizard had no problems with it and so far it seems to help him be more lively as well as help him on his shedding. I think it's a great product.

So my gecko had had a eye infection for the past 3 weeks and hasn’t been able to eat. Every time I would clean his eyes they would puss and it was so scary I really thought my gecko was going to die …. But I couldn’t give up so I did some Amazon digging and ordered a bunch of products . This reptile electrolyte soak literally saved his life !!! He had the BEST shedding I have ever seen since the three years I’ve had my gecko ! His dead skin came off literally so perfect the very next day ! I had him soaked for about 20 minutes and within 12 hours he was completely ready to have his shed removed. As soon as I got to his face I noticed that there was some shed coming out from his eyes. So once I pulled it off it felt as if I pulled something out of his eyes ! It was all the dead skin And I was so happy to see his little eyes looking back at me ! In the photos you can see how good this product worked for my gecko !! I didn’t take a before photo but believe me it was so bad that I thought his eyes were never going to open or that he was going to go blind .
