RER11344-Steel Center Drive Shaft Set for Redcat Gen8 Upgrade Parts 2PCS

I don’t know why people are giving these 5 stars... They broke at the ears on the universal joint first run on the rear shaft and the front was already thinning in the same spot about to break. Steel...Um idk about that? They did have some good weight to them but very weak at the universal for sure.

The screws to attach this to the pinion are not as pictured. Instead there are small set screws designed to pinch the pinion shaft on 2 sides of each end. Also, the U-joint is connected using an E-clip. Quite tiny I'm pretty sure it's gonna get knocked off at some point at which time I'll probably go out and buy a roll pin to hold the parts together.The drive lines themselves are quite impressive with their construction, fit and weight.Too bad the hardware keeping them together and on the vehicle are not up to the same quality.

I ran redcat aluminum driveshafts in my gen 7 and I hated them..clunky rattly and just no good, these ones on the other hand..BEEFY, I've beat the life out of these steel driveshafts and I've had zero problems with them, they're very thick and heavy, and I mean HEAVY for 1/10 driveshafts, granted youre gonna get power drain because it takes more to turn them but with gear reduction it doesn't even matter, 10/10 recommended!!

Lasted one battery charge. Ears are thin at joint. First loosen up, get hot, then completely break off. Can't say I got even $23 worth of use out of them. Do NOT waste your money. Original plastic shafts were stronger

One of the clips for the driveshafts came off and made the pin bend and destroyed my output to my front wheels now I need to rebuild my transfer case and it's going to be 2 weeks for my replacement part for my transfer case will show up. Thanks
