A must try in hair dye!
I am allergic to so many things. This was the only hair color I can use and I am so glad to have found this - I am blown away how wonderful it is. It does an amazing job covering my grays and looking natural. Just listen to their advice about not going too long. This last time I went too long around my hair line. They were a little darker then they usually are. I love that they don’t use peroxide too. Less damaging then the traditional permanent dyes.

Too dangerous and reactive
The description says it has no peroxide, yet the directions clearly state no peroxide needs to be added because it’s already in the powder. But that’s the least of the problems. I bought this because it says it doesn’t have harsh chemicals. I tried it on my beard and it looks great but I broke out with the usual rash and leaking pus as with Just For Men. I believe it’s from the ppd, the same highly toxic chemical that all synthetics dyes have. I’m going back to natural henna, since they’re the only ones that don’t give a reaction and won’t blow out my liver and kidneys.Updated: 2 days later the area on my face I put thus on is swollen and draining pus. If there is anyone else considering a class action against this company please include me on it. This is extremely upsetting.

Allergies?
I spent over $1500 on environmental skin prick and a week long patch testing, this product was on the list of products i was not allergice to and able to use, and the ONLY hair color on the list. I was happy with the results, my hair is light brown, and it covered the grey to be light brown, and it has not washed out for the most part, but is showing grey where my hair is growing out. I highly recommend it.

Happy with the color- blends nicely.
I was skeptical about this product but was pleasantly pleased with the result. See photo. I have colored my hair for years with Matrix Socolor. Due to allergies my dr recommended this brand. It was very watery but that could have been my mistake. I filled the provided measuring cup to the top. Today I only used it on my roots, for 20 minutes -as I didn't perform a strand test. I was afraid if I kept it on longer it might get too dark. Normally with Matrix I leave it on for 30+ minutes. I'll see how this wears to determine if I'd buy it again.

Good for skin allergies
If you’re using this product, it’s probably due to skin allergies. It’s literally the only kind I can use, so I’m thankful that this dye exists or I’d be stuck with gray hair. It isn’t as easy to apply as normal dyes... it doesn’t come with a bottle or applicator. It’s a powder that you mix with a little water. I apply it with a brush from an old Nice n Easy root kit. It gets pretty good coverage, altho it takes twice as long to apply it and twice as long to set in it. Also, you must use shampoo and conditioner after you rinse it out. Also worth noting, I notice as it dries, it kind of flakes on the surface of my hair, but I don’t notice any flakes after i rinse and wash it.I’ve not had any issues with my skin allergies after using it for 8 mos. again, so thankful this product exists!

i love this stuff!!
it takes longer to put on my hair than typical dyes, but i love it. coverage is great, it doesn't damage/dry out my hair, and it lasted longer than dye. four weeks between applications, and i didn't have as much grey showing as i do when i use store dyes. i was using a pigment powder that you mixed with water and it became mousse but couldn't buy anymore when that particular product's manufacturer went out of business, this was the closest i could find. i was disappointed at first when i mixed it because i have very long hair, past my waist, and didn't think it would be enough. but as i said it's for grey coverage and i applied it only to the new growth, and had some left over. i am very satisfied with this product
