I only started reading the Bible about 4 months ago using the YouVersion app. I found my self searching the web for answers to questions I had while I read.After consistently reading each day for about three months, I decided to purchase this study Bible. I have been very happy it. It has helped me better understand what the scripture is saying and has helped increase my interest to continue reading.The quality of the Bible itself is quite nice. This was a wise investment into my mental health.

I really love this Bible! The charts, maps, timelines and pictures are wonderful. The text of the Word is large enough where it doesn’t strain my eyes. The explications below are very helpful with creating a deeper understanding. The intro to each book is also helpful- it tells you who is the author, themes, timelines and background. The back of the books is filled with different theological articles (Biblical ethics, interpreting the Bible, the cannon of scripture and more!) the only thing I wish it has was person profiles- but not that big of a deal!

Got this for my husband for Christmas. He loves it! I got an NIV life application version so we could compare notes. Many are the same, but I find Old Testament readings have a lot of interesting historical and contextual things in this version vs my NIV, where are the life application one asks you questions about how what you’re reading can apply to your life now. General commentary content is very similar otherwise. This one does not have red letters. Leather is very soft.

This is a beautiful Bible. There's lots of notes and commentary as well as maps and other visual resources. It's big, the spine is probably 2.5 inches, this isn't really a Bible you tote around with you everywhere. I love it

This is my first study bible and I love it! Would recommend it to everyone!
