After reading all the negative comments I was hesitant to order this kettle. I've also waited 3 months after purchase to write this review just to ensure that I was happy with the quality. Im pleased to say that the kettle is a little gem with no issues at all. It boils quickly and is a lot quieter than my previous named brand kettle. The different colours for different temperatures is a great feature and I've only descaled it once since purchase(I live in a soft water area), it didn't really need it but I was descaling the coffee machine so did kettle at the same time. I'm glad I took the plunge and purchased this and I can honestly recommend to anyone considering buying.

The kettle was lovely, but unfortunately a fault has developed after 6 months where it no longer turns off once it reaches the correct temperature, and now it boils over, flooding the kitchen with scorching hot water. There does not seem to be any option via amazon to send for repair or replacement. EDIT: I was able to find a direct email address for Aigostar, who have now provided a replacement.

4/5 just for the noise it makes, it’s a little louder than I would prefer but otherwise it looks really good and it gets the job done.

I've been buying kettles with variable temperature controls for a few years as I drink a lot of green and herbal teas the required water heated to less than boiling point. Until now I been frustrated with the quality with every one of them breaking down in some way within a few months. Either the control button breaks, the water filter in the spout gets so blocked that it can't be cleaned properly, or the whole thing just stops working. This kettle which I've now had around 6 months is totally different. The filter in the spout is part of the metal construction and is easily cleaned along with the rest of the kettle without any risk of damage. The temperature control buttons operate smoothly and are showing no signs of wear, and because it's clear glass it's so easy to see how full it is, and when it needs cleaning. This deserves more than 5 stars!

This kettle is dangerous and product support is completely inaccessible. I bought this kettle on April 13th. Ar first, it worked as expected, however, yesterday, I went to use it and it started fizzing and sparking. Alarmed, I switched it off at the socket and attempted to unplug it but the plug was melted to the socket. Thank God I caught it before it got worse! I attempted to report an issue to the company's website, but it was all in Italian and it wouldn't allow me to proceed without agreeing to subscribe to something before I could get through. Then it took me to a page of garish pop-ups which contained suspicious things to click on. Concerned about the nature of the pop-ups and what I was signing up to, I gave up. It's really concerning that poor quality, dangerous products are entering the UK market and there's no recourse to address it.

Really pleased with this kettle. There are a lot of glass kettles out their and with lights but this one has adjustable pre-set temperatures as well as the straight boil. A different coloured light for each seperate temperature choice. I have never liked having to boil water for drinks and have often tried to switch it off prior to the boil as it can scorch coffee and ruin delicate flavours in tea. All I end up doing is leaving the drink to cool down and then forget about it until it's too cold. This one can be set to switch off at 70, 80, 90 and 100 degrees. Now I can make a drink and drink it ! Do you think that might catch on, it should. Quality, price, size all good. It pours well, no dribbling. It looks super cool too.

Easy to use and clean. It’s not too loud and boils rather quickly, There is an inner edge which I’ve found helps prevent boil over. Holds a decent amount of water and easy to pour. Looks modern, would definitely buy again. Only down side is that there is no mesh filter by the spout which means I’m descaling more often than I usually would. This is not much of an issue for me but might be for others.

Dont buy! The temperature sensor started rusting after only two months of working. I thought it might be because of some impurities. So, cleaned it and tried. The rust showed up again after only one week. Gave it another chance again and no luck. I only use still water and mostly just boil water in the kettle to make tea in my teapot (i.e. not brewing in the kettel). Only few times brewed green tea in the kettle. Great credit to Amazon as they accepted to refund after three months. Regarding the inside stainless filter, it is a good feature that most kettles have it these days if you need to brew in the kettle, but this one is not easy to use. You have to detach the filter from the lid, fill it with whatever you'd like to brew, attach it again, put the lid & fliter assembly back on the kettel and go on with the boiling etc. It was much easier in my AIcook one touch tea maker because it had a separate lid just to access the inside of the filter. The timing function (keep warm) only works with full boiling. So, if you want to use "keep warm" at any other temperature setting (70, 80 etc.), this kettle can't help. Overall, I don't suggest buying this at all.

Works perfect

The lid of the kettle is prone to pop open before it boils which is worrying from a safety point of view. And also means the kettle keeps boiling.

It’s a beautiful kettle, but on my first time use it exploded….
