I was very hesitant based on all the sharpener fear out there. I bought this for my favorite Victorinox chef knife. Figured it was worth a try. After a month of use my knife stopped being razor sharp. 5 passes through each slot and slicing paper thin tomato slices again! I have a wet stone but don’t feel like taking 30 minutes every time I cook. I’m very happy with my purchase and bought another as a gift. Box arrived smashed on both though.

Could not be more disappointed. Just received the sharpener. The "switch" used to go between modes 1 and 2 does not work. It arrived loose in the Amazon shipping envelope with a "beat up" box. There was a plastic sleeve for the sharpener that was also loose in the package. It was not large enough to cover the sharpener. I'm assuming I received a used/returned item that someone else also didn't want. There is a sticker on the outside of the box stating it "is imported from Europe without the manufacturer's consent and may differ...". The only warranty is thru the 3rd party seller. Don't waste your money on this.

Come al solito, Victorinox non si smentisce. Affilatura perfetta (effettuata sia su coltelli da cucina Victorinox, sia su un altro set, sempre da cucina, Wusthof), molto semplice da usare ma estremamente efficace. Il migliore provato sino d ora.
