This is the second one I've bought as a windstorm blew off my first one and it broke but I liked it so much that I ordered another just like it. Hopefully no more windstorm!!

We can view the temperature from the inside of our home where this is hanging on a lanai wall. Large numerals but not ugly. Blends in well with stucco on home. Love the Italian look. Very happy with this purchase.

Has Not gotten it to work.

I am very, very pleased with this thermometer. I have seen similar products at specialty garden shops for exorbitant prices, but nothing in a reasonable price range until I spotted this gem on Amazon.As the instructions stated, I let my unit sit in the location I planned to place it, with a trusted thermometer nearby, for a full day. It was about 5 degrees off (high), so I set about to adjust it. USE A SCREW DRIVER WITH A BLADE TIP THE SAME WIDTH AS THE HEAD YOU ARE TURNING...this alleviates the problem of stripping the plastic that some reviewers encountered. Turn slowly--clockwise to lower the needle and counter-clockwise to raise the needle. In my case because the reading was too high, I turned the head to the left. Do it slowly...the spring inside gives a little click with each adjustment, 1-2 degrees with each click. It takes a bit of muscle and control but keep turning the screw driver until the reading (needle) on the thermometer matches the thermometer you are comparing with. Beautiful and accurate!

It's accurate and reliable, what more can you ask for?

We really like this particular thermometer. We use it on our back deck. It's accurate and easy to read from inside the house and at night in dim light. It's our second because the first one froze and seized up during several days of snow and below freezing temps.In the future we'll bring this one inside for the duration of hard winter weather.However, this style remains our favorite!
