DWDWSM2231 Wing Nut Felt Combo

Sometimes it's the smallest things that float your boat. Yeah, they cost too much but it saves me time EVERY set up/tear down & they protect my beloved cymbals. Check them out, then you'll know. After I got them on my new kit, I bought them for all my kits.

I have been using these for about a week and LOVE them. Drummers have to carry everything around and its nice that DW combined two things. They are also heavy duty and even though there is plastic on top of the felt, Its thick and if you hit it a few million times its totally OK. They are big enough that you can feel them in your stick bag (or where ever you carry them) and they are not hiding in some lip of your carry case. I also have never had an issue with them unscrewing themselves.

I totally recommend these. I have to set up and break down my kit all the time and loosing or dropping the felts sucks. Especially in a dark room if you drop the felt you're toast or at least wasting time looking aroun the floor (lame). I've been using these for 3 years and no problems. I use DW booms so i can adjust the tension on the cymbal just once, and then cruise. Efficient set up and break down is critical.

These would have been fine for the purpose for which they were made. But I dis-assembled them and used the wing nuts on my DW tom brackets so one tom in particular would fit in its Enduro case. The stems on these wing nuts are very short compared to the others by DW.

Seem a bit pricey but great idea. Perfect add on for my DW stands.

They work well and look good. The only thing is for some reason I thought they were black but not a deal breaker.
