Oregon 28840 5/32-Inch Chainsaw Replacement Sharpening Stone

I own and use a number of chainsaws and pruning saws on my two farms, from smaller Greenworks through large Stihl and Echo. Sharpness and dependability are critical for both time and safety. I use these Oregon sharpening stones with a Dremel tool and they work great. You have to know what you're doing with these to sharpen chainsaw blades or you can ruin a good blade in a minute. But if you know what you're doing these are 1) faster than using a file and just as effective, and 2) in my experience the best sharpening stones available.

These don't last long, but do a great job of sharpening.

Great sharpening stone. Don’t buy the cheap Chinese ones, trash!

I have been using a small 5/32 rat tail file to sharpen my 4" chainsaw chains. The Oregon 28840 5/32-Inch Chainsaw Sharpening Stone is much faster and with better results.

They sure wear down fast.

These seem to last quite a while so this three pack should last for many, many sharpenings.

I use my chainsaw a lot! Sharpening it with these files in my Dremel tool is a quick job, and a lot cheaper than paying someone to do the job.
