Oscar Blandi Pronto Dry Shampoo , 1 oz

I have never written a review for a product, but was so pleased with this purchase, I felt the need to write a review. This product does exactly what it sets out to do- refreshes your hair, absorbs the excess oil that builds up over days of not washing, and leaves a decent scent (although, it does take a few times to get used to the distinct lemon-like scent). However, it went beyond the expectations for me.I have medium length, baby-fine hair that does nothing but just hang there. With this product, not only am I able to go a few days without washing my hair to help keep my hair healthy and not over-washed, but I am able to create body and texture on the days I don't wash and instead use this dry shampoo. I can now even curl my hair and it stays curled throughout the day (as hair holds better and has a better texture when you go without wet-shampooing). I have gone up to 4 days with not wet-washing and instead using this dry shampoo and you would never even be able to tell. I find I also get tired of washing, blow-drying, and fixing my hair each morning, so this allows me to go three or four days a week without wet-washing in order to spend that time sleeping or creating a different look than my everyday same-old style.I had been using the baby powder trick for a couple years prior and it just is not the same. The texture of your hair isn't as pleasing, the scent is overpowering, it isn't as refreshing, and it doesn't blend into the hair and scalp as well as this dry shampoo does.This dry shampoo is completely worth the money and it might even change the way you do your hair. I highly recommend.

Soaks up the grease and smells amazing! I have long hair that literally gets greasy by the end of a day after a morning wash, so this is an essential beauty product for me. love love love it!I have experimented with several dry shampoos, as well as corn starch which honestly works pretty darn well if you ask me if you are on a budget, but the con for me was that it was unscented, and I really like the smell of the Oscar Blandi. This does a great job at making your hair look fresh on a day off from washing... all you need to do is squirt a little bit onto your roots and rub/massage it into your scalp. I like the applicator tip because it prevents you from using too much. If I could I would give it 4.5 stars because I do think it is a little pricey, but for me this is worth the price because I use it often and it works fabulously.

For years I've been hearing about all these women who supposedly only wash their hair once per week, and how lush and thick their locks become from all the natural oils. I have a lot of smooth, fine hair, and as my grandmother always used to say, it's 'straight as a poker'. If I skip one day of washing my hair, my hair starts to hang in wet-looking strings of grease.I've tried some aerosol dry shampoos in the past including Big Sexy Hair Volumizing Dry Shampoo Sexy Hair 1.1 oz Shampoo For Unisex  and Ojon Full Detox(tm) Rub-Out(tm) Dry Cleansing Spray 1.8 oz  and ended up with white clumps from spraying too close for too long, grease streaks, and white probably toxic powder all over my bedroom. My scalp also FELT dirty because there was so much powdery residue on it. It almost felt worse than not using anything.Enter Pronto! The squeeze tube, for me at least, seems to give better control in terms of application, and the results are amazing! My hair looks full and clean, and it even feels clean! I also really like the smell. It's a pleasant but not too strong perfumed scent.As per the review mentioning toxicity, I checked the Environmental working group's site and this product is actually a '4' on the 1-10 scale. That's not great, but it's not super toxic either. I will look for an alternative product that is on the very low end of the scale, but I'm hoping that light use of this product won't have any negative health effects relative to things like sunscreen, which almost always seems to fall in the 4 toxicity range with just a few exceptions. This is a powder, though, and we probably breathe some in when applying, so it is something to consider.

This is only my second dry shampoo. The first one was a Bastise spray but I didn't much like it and only used it a couple of times. Originally I thought a spray would work better because no hands required but then I realized that it's hard to gauge how much is applied if you use a spray. The smell was also sort of strong. Anyway, it's not that it didn't work, it's probably just personal preference.I have black hair and it gets greasy easily. For example, if I wash my hair at night, by the middle of next day my scalp is smelly (I live in a humid environment). So what I'm trying now is to wash my hair at night and apply dry shampoo in the morning because I don't want to go to bed without washing my hair and don't have time and don't think it's a good idea to wash again in the morning.I've only tried this dry shampoo twice and as soon as I smell it I'm in love. LOVE the citrus-y smell! It's also one of the reasons I picked this one after reading a whole bunch of reviews from different dry shampoos. And the pointed cap is really great for application but if you want to get a better idea of how much you're using, pour some in your hands and apply with your fingertips. Even though I'm not good at applying it, it didn't leave my hair looking gray. The cost is a bit on the higher end and the volume isn't that much, but I get a feeling this will last a long while because I only apply it to the crown of my head (the part where it gets smelly) and only so little is needed.

I thought I was purchasing the larger 2.5 oz bottle, as the price of CAD $30 is the usual price for the 2.5 oz bottle and I received the very small 1oz. Bottle which usually sells for $11 at Sephora. The photo of the bottle advertised shows the cap of the 2.5oz bottle, misleading! Guess I learned a lesson for my next purchase.

This dry shampoo is excellent. I have tried so many products in the USA and UK and this is by far the best. You can put it exactly where you need it with the thin pointed lid/spout, and as its a powder there's no sticky wet residue like with a spray, you can be sparing and accurate and it just works. The smell is pleasant and not overwhelming too.Without it I'd be washing my blonde oily hair every day, with it I can leave it 3-4 days and it looks good, without looking straw like or over-dry. It gives great body at the roots and doesn't have that chalky look once brushed or rubbed in.A bottle lasts ages too, so much better value than a spray which hardly lasts a few weeks. I use this most 5 out of 7 days a week and it lasts months. Highly recommend

I have thin, straight brown hair and my hair gets oily very quickly. When I discovered this I stopped washing my hair every day and it made my life easier. This product is great and the amount will last a long time, for a little bit goes a long way. The smell is a bit strong but pleasant. So what I do is put a small amount on my hair (not directly in the scalp) and let it sit for a few minutes before brushing it. Another good tip is to use it before going to bed, so you wake up with fresh hair and the smell is not strong at all. I had no problems with the vendor and shipping was fast, recommend it!

This dry shampoo is a lifesaver! It has saved me a ton of time because often my hair isn't really "dirty", just needs a bit of freshening up. In the past this was solved by doing the conventional "wet shampoo - blow dry - style" cycle, but now all I need is a bit of dry shampoo and I'm good for at least another day, and often two or three. It has a wonderful lemon verbena fragrance, and it easily "disappears" from your hair while brushing (or even just massaging). Doesn't leave any powdery residue, just a refreshed and renewed head of hair! Great product - bought my first in the States, so glad to have it available in Europe via Amazon - hope it's around forever!

Really good although you need be careful that it can leave a bit of white powder on the hair...
