Non-removable agitator seems like an obvious flaw
First of all, be sure to check out the photos of this product and compare them to other stainless steel shakers that are available on Amazon -- many of them are the same. They're all getting the same bottle from somewhere and applying their logo to it.It has one huge problem: the built-in agitator in the lid can't be removed. You can't actually reach between the agitator and the lid, unless you're using a very small bottle brush. Fortunately it's dishwasher safe, so that'll blast any protein powder gunk away. But you probably can't do that in the middle of the day. If you plan on using any thick powders like soy protein, casein protein, or Optimum Nutrition Serious Mass, I don't recommend this shaker. There will be some protein powder stuck underneath the lid, and it's a huge pain to clean in there. (Whey protein dissolves easy enough, I've never had a problem with that.)Although I don't think it has actually leaked on me ever, condensation forms on the threads of the lid, which then runs down the sides while you're shaking it. So you may see some droplets spewing around, but I think it's just water. Also, the metal ring on the outside of the lid is just for decoration, and is only held on with friction. It came off after about a week. It's not needed, so I tossed it out.

Close, but not Yeti.
Well I went ahead and purchased it before ever getting an answer thru Amazon about whether or not the shaker was insulated and if it would sweat (condensate). I can tell you now, it is not insulated and it condensates profusely with any drink with or as cold as ice. So while this shaker has the benefit of keeping a beverage from spilling with a nice tight leakproof lid, it does by no means compare to a Yeti Rambler that can keep ice for almost two days and no condensation. It would be perfect if it there were a Yeti Rambler with a Homelife lid.

I used this for a giveaway for my business. I have switched to a different brand but the product worked well. The cup wasn’t very sturdy, but that is to be expected from any single walled cup!

Nothing special here. It is a protein shaker, it is stainless steel. Doesn't always break up the protein well and the top is hard to clean. Overall....just ok.

Nice size and quality, but design could be better
(Disclaimer - My wife and I were invited by the seller to try and review their products. We only agree to these requests when it's something we would actually use. The fact we received them for free has no bearing on our review, and we have written negative reviews in the past for products we were sent for free. But we tend to accept more review invitations for quality products, so that's why many of these invited reviews have high ratings. Also, for this type of invited review, we always begin with a disclaimer.)This shaker mug can hold 30oz, which is quite generous. The material is is strong, easy to clean, and the flip cap locks firmly when pressed down (but opening also requires a bit of force), so that when shaking, it won't accidentally open. The built-in agitator is a clever design too. All-in-all, it's a quality mug. My wife's even used it for pancake mixes, and the size of the mug is just about right (any bigger and it would be hard to hold). Even as just a water bottle it works well.In terms of design, there's definitely room for improvement though. For example, the measurement markings are on a mug that has no see-through parts that actually show the liquid inside, and if you try to look inside the mug to see the markings, you realize they are reversed on the inside so you can't really read them anyway. So how are the markings actually useful if you can't see the liquid from the outside and from the inside you can't read the markings? You'd have to look back and forth between the inside and outside to match where the markings are, and that's just not efficient. The other minor thing, is that when the lid is closed tight, the flip cap does not line up with the HomeLife Solutions logo at the front of the mug. This doesn't affect the usability of the mug, but I think a well designed product should pay attention to even these little things. Also, if it wasn't important, then when the people who shot the product photos made sure the flip cap lined up perfectly with the logo? They could have left the flip cap at its natural position (about 45 degrees to the left of the logo) and shot the photos, but they wanted it to look "right," which means on some level it does matter.

I wanted to love it, but it wasn't a total win
In my quest to remove toxic plastic from as much of my kitchen as possible, stainless steel is a great alternative. The size of this and the fact that it has a built in shaker (tired of losing my shaker ball) stood out to me and I was eager to try it.The first issue I ran up against was the measuring. I understand that pressing the measurements into the outside looks better, but it made pouring my liquid in a bit confusing.Secondly, the bottle was slick! I have stainless steel cups and yes, they are cold feeling from my drinks, but this shaker actually felt colder than my water and when the condensation built up (pretty quickly of course) the bottle was slippery. Basically, I feel like this bottle is pretty thinPerhaps the stainless needs a little more brushing to eliminate the slickness, or just a silicone sleeve would be nice to help the cold. All in all, I am pleased with this shaker bottle, but not as excited after using it, as I was before.Disclaimer: I received this item free or deeply discounted in exchange for a fair and honest review. All thoughts are my own.
