Defective product
Paid a little extra for what appeared to be a quality product compared to others. Before I was reusing a broken axle where the inner joint could just slide out if you disconnected the strut. It worked much better than this one did. Installed the axle, greased both the wheel hub end and end that goes into the transmission with hi temp grease. Went in all the way and popped in. Cant pull it back out. Axle nut was tighetend with a breaker bar as far as I could turn it. This isnt the first axle I've done. The axles appeared to be the same length upon examination. Now there are problems. When I apply the break I hear a sound that sounds like cicadas. Its not the just the brakes. I can definitely hear it just going around curves too. Appears I was sent a defective product. Now we are past the return window and I am screwed. Don't have the money to buy another axle too. Looks like I got left out back...

Works good so far. 2007 subaru outback.

Gets the job done
They were a nice fit and they’ve definitely addressed the issue I had. The only critique would be. They are louder than OEM and axle bolt is a different size than the OEM.
