I took this to a lake and drove it around a little. It felt like it was super fast and it runs insanely well. Overall if you're looking for a good boat, get this.

The media could not be loaded. This is an awesome little RC boat! My boys (my husband and my eight year old son) both LOVE this boat! It's so fun to run up to the lake and zip it around for a while. Battery life is decent... You get about 10-15 minutes runtime (thankfully the lake is close by!). The remote lets you know when you're starting to run low on battery so you can bring it to shore. And the boat surprisingly goes pretty fast! We're going to order a second battery so we can spend more time at the lake each time! I would definitely recommend this RC boat if you're looking for something fast & fun, yet affordable.After reading some of the other reviews, I think an important thing to know is that once the battery is charged, the boat HAS GOT TO BE IN THE WATER in order to function!! If you turn it on outside of the water, it will be beep constantly at you as if it were malfunctioning. It needs water to work!

It would be a good gift if you like somewhat fast boats but if you like fast boats I would get a different one because there are other boats for the same price that go faster. Also they don't say how fast it goes in the pictures they say it in small letters to the right of it which is also downside because I was wanting a fast boat and it looked faster in the video but it only goes 15 mph. Overall is a pretty good boat I just wish it went faster.

This product is a piece of CRAP. Do not purchase.!! I used this one time once the battery died i charged it up and the boat only went in circles it would not change directions. Charged it again and the boat would not connect . After putting it away for a week tried it again and now it took 10 minutes to connect then would not go. It connected because the Rutter would move but only in one direction. the motor would not turn after trying several times. My grandson was disappointed. and of course the thirty dat return date had passed now all my grandson can do is push it around the pool. WASTE OF MONEY SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO THE REVIEWS.

This is our 2nd boat. Thank goodness we bought a warranty. Just like the 1st one, after the 3rd use the boat stops working correctly. We will be exchanging with the warranty because it is a super neat toy - just purchase the warra,you WILL will need it. Short battery life,that's my only REAL complaint.

We were the life of the lake! Bought these for my husband and 8 year old son. They had a blast and so did everyone watching. They are super fast, easy to maneuver and can dive under water. The self righting feature is the best. They have a really far distancing ability and let you know when the battery is getting low. I wish the battery lasted longer but with the low cost of the boats I didn't mind buying more batteries. Great buy.

I got this to chase geese out of my pond. This this is fast. Ricky Bobby would love it, and geese hate it. Charge it up and let er rip, tater chip.
