Easy to install . I recommend it .

The installation was not as difficult as most reviews make it seem. There was a learning curve because it was my first door opener install but it was not terrible. I am very surprised with how quiet this opener is, especially since it is a chain drive. I have not integrated with Alexa yet but the Orbit Home app works great (once you find the correct video to watch.)The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is: I am disappointed with the range of the remote opener. It is at least half the distance of my previous garage door opener. All in all, it’s worth the money.

Directions were easy to follow.Even the remote programming couldn't of been any easier.You can control it with your cell phone or use the included remotes.I recommend this to anybody wanting something more than just a door opener.

The good- Unit is very small and compact. Installation was a piece of cake.... Very quiet motor.The bad - First unit was defective. The down pressure setting can no longer be set. ( this according to Skylink's technical support). Manual states that you hold setup button for 10 seconds until you see an "F" on the display. Then select 0 through 3 force adjustment. This setting no longer exist and can no longer be adjusted. I set limits exactly as stated in manual and when testing door it would push so hard when door closed it would bend the chain rail upward about six inches. I called tech support and they said that the close force is set when the limits are set and there is no longer a way to reduce the closing force. They also wanted me to try slowly approaching the closed limit when adjusting the door for the first time. I left the door about 4" form the floor and then slowly adjusted it the rest of the way until fully closed. This didn't wok either.In addition, in a response from SkyLink through amazon they said that this behavior is normal for the first time closing the door. It's not...… It continued this behavior just about every other door closing. It worked normally twice out of five closers. BTW this behavior was aggravated by opening door half way and then close door.The ugly - after trying this a few times per their recommendations the opener pushed so hard when closing it pulled the door opener bracket right off the door before I could stop it....… kinda pissed about that because it is a brand new insulated overhead door. Cost me an additional $27 dollars to put a reinforced bracket on door.I'm giving this opener one more chance, my replacement unit should be here in a few days. I really hope this one works if not I will return for a refund if the new unit exhibits same behavior.

I have installed the unit, and it goes up and down fine, but I cannot find the Orbit Home app for android. I cannot use the WiFi function.This door is only for 7' doors. Even though the QA someone said it will fit up to 10 ft door. Not true.Seller was fine. The unit Skylink functions for the most part. The App that allows you to see its status and open or close remotely is not available on Google play. They said it will be back 03/06/2025.The manufacturer updated the App and it controls the door. The add camera function is not working yet.

Does what it is supposed to do, it is made mostly of plastic.The instructions are ok, but takes a lot of patience to understand and apply to the assembly process as it is somewhat universal to all models they make.Wifi setup is cumbersome and gave me a failed result even after the unit was connected and worked trough the app. The app is good but gets stuck on whatever function it is performing, so to close the door after you open you need to log off and log back in as it never changes to allow you to close it.The quality of the remote and wall buttons is not good. The 3 button remote needs very small hands to press one button at a time and it works one out of 5 tries, the wall button got stuck on mine and it doesnt give you a feedback when you press it.It has enough power and it is compact.Very quiet for a chain drive unit, I only hear the motor humming if i stand under it and the only other noise heard is the door springs extendingIf you are on a very limited budget and need all the features and can live with a low quality built unit then it is for you... as for me I am sending it back and spending the extra money for a known better built brand.
