Knives 2016: The World's Greatest Knife Book Paperback – September 11, 2015

Good book - "thickness" is a bit deceiving. I bought this for my son. It has a lot of great material about both old and new knife design. Very good usage and ratio of pictures-to-text.About 1/3 of the book is an extensive list of reference material. I was pretty excited when I first saw how "hefty" the book was so I was a little disappointed to find that so much space was devoted to small print reference and not actual content about different knives.

Appears to be a nice book that my husband will enjoy. 4 stars only because it is not what I expected which is my fault.

Lots of color pictures

Great book, interesting how guys (mostly) who make knives have such an artistic streak! Last year I bought the e-version and found it hard to look up individual knives so I went back to paper!

My husband has had his nose in this book since he got it, he needs to come up for air soon. :)

Disappointing! I buy this book series every yeah and have done so for many years. They used to contain knifemaking articles. Now it just contains mostly knife pictures. No knifemaking articles for the last three years. The pictures are very nice and well done to be sure but in a sea of knife picture books its just the same old picture book rhetoric! I have been buying knife books for years. Theres only so many picture books you can read and use. Im truly dissapointed and will not waste my money on this series anymore!

The printing of this book is not that great. Although the content is fine.
