We owned these knives for about 10 months before the copper effect (plastic) pieces started to lost their colour, dry out and then fall off. The black colour on the knives also started to flake off and ended up in our food.

Absolutely exquisite design. The knives have a superior quality and preparation in the kitchen has become a delight.

This is a nice looking set for the price and really sharp , however , the first wash with the paring knife stripped all the copper colour off leaving it a pale pink , washed in hand-hot water and not in the dishwasher - really disappointing, returning them and have ordered the more expensive set - I guess you get what you pay for 🙄

I bought this set ,originally, about a year ago, so guarantee ran out. Loved them, fitted well in kitchen then suddenly one snapped away from the handle. I have now have a second set, not sure if they are tough enough but very sharp, light to hold but maybe a bit flimsy compared to my Sabatier set . They suit my needs, but if you are looking for a sturdy hard working set I would not recommend.
