This night light is great. I was looking to add a couple lighted outlet covers to some dark areas in a stairway. The price of those covers have quadrupled in recent months and I’m not willing to pay that. I bought two of these lighted plates instead, at a fraction of the cost, and they work just fine. They are sleek looking and cover the whole outlet so if you need to use the outlet, you’ll have to pull the nightlight. This isn’t a problem for me as they’re in a stairwell where the need for the outlet has been never so far.

Neither too bright nor too dim. Warmer color.

Lights up the room well and not too big

These little night-lights do the job, but I wish they were a bit brighter. The brightness may be fine to light your way to the bathroom in the middle of the night, but that isn't the purpose that I bought them for. I use them in a dark basement to help me avoid tripping on things when I shut my game down for the night and have to walk through the dark basement to the stairs. The wall light switches are near the stairs, so the overhead lights don't help. I put two lights in. One near the TV and chairs, and one at the opposite end of the basement, near the stairs. They do provide some light, and help...but I want more light. For my needs, they need to be brighter.

These are great for having a little light in the hall and bathroom when you have to get up at night and don’t want to wake up the whole house.

Works well

I missed the always on note in the title. Pay attention next time. They are on all the time. No off and on. Great light. Price is right. Put two in one socket and they look nice. But in the hallway I want them just at night. They would be perfect for a closet, but no plug in there.

Works really well, but I would caution this is really bright. I use it at a plug near the entrance to my front door, so it's perfect for that, but it is bright enough to light up a small room at night. It would also bleed a lot of light into my bedrooms if I tried to use it in the hallway, but it's perfect for what I need it for.Update: it's been just about 7 years since we bought this light and it's continued to chug along. It has lost about 10-20% of the brightness it initially had, but it's still plenty bright for a nightlight. And we've had it plugged in next to a bookshelf for the last 2.5 years, which has shaded the sensor, meaning it's been on 24/7 that whole time. But at 1watt, we're not too worried about the power usage. I wasn't expecting this thing to last as long as it has, which is a pleasant surprise for an electronic device in this day and age. Would still highly recommend it.
