I love stepping on them.
We got these for our 2 year old. He loves them. He loves to wait until we put them all on the fridge nice and neat, and then he proceeds to rake them off onto the floor. The ones that he doesn't kick or push under the fridge lay on the floor until you step on them. This experience is great for early mornings when you are half awake.Yes you could keep track of every time they throw them off the fridge like a super clean parent...but let's face it...90% of us don't care that much because they are just gonna throw them on the floor again.I sometimes wish we would have bought 50 packs of the same thing so I had enough little letters to cover my entire kitchen floor. When visitors come over I could tell them my son is an artist, and this is his latest creation.

Good, Wholesome, American Fun.. not quite as good as pie.
I bought these for my 4 younger kiddos to use on the bottom portion of our fridge.. but I used krylon spray paint in gold to awesome them up a little bit.. no boring mulitcolored fridge magnets for us! I let the kids help me decide to use gold or bronze paint. They also got to help paint them. They work well for our purposes. We can spell out messages and hopefully help my youngest 3 in letter recognition and learning to spell their names. I bought 1 set of magents but plan on buying a few more, though I will be buying different brands because I don't want them all to look the same. (I had some old magnets too) I may also spray paint some bronze in addition to the gold. These magents are also fun for the oldest 2 kids as well.. but I also got some word magents for the top portion of the fridge for the older crowd..

Good product, but you'll need 2 packages to spell anything!
I looked for awhile for these magnets and finally found them on amazon. They are great quality and our 20 month old loves to play with them on the fridge. My only gripe is that you can't spell much with one pack! 2 packs seem like there would be too many letters on your fridge... But without 2 you won't be able to spell important words like MOM and DAD... Since there are not two Ms or Ds (no two Ns either). You'll need 3 packs to spell MOMMY or DADDY!! So, unless they rethink the letters that come in each pack, you probably should get two and just pull additional letters that you'll need.

5 stars but major warning!!!
I gave this 5 stars in fairness to the company because package states it is for3+. I ordered these for my 9 month old because she loves magnets. These do what the say and are a classic. She loves taking them off and on fridge and dishwasher but mostly puts them in her mouth. This is where the warning comes in. Like other reviewers said, they are a bit small. All the letters seem ok EXCEPT THE LETTER I. This letter is perfect thing to choke on!!! Trust me- it came close to happening. So if you have a little one still putting everything in her mouth be careful. Take the 2 letter I's away and closely monitor when baby is playing with them. I love love love the leap frog magnetic farm- if your little one likes magnets check this out.

DO NOT BUY! Missing some letters!
Okay, the price was right, but I should have read the reviews. These arrived and I opened them and threw them in a container with the rest of our letter manipulative for homeschooling and didn't imagine I'd have to double check that no letters were missing before throwing out the packaging. Then the first day we used them, my daughter was like where's the B? Where's the P? Etc. Good questions kiddo! They aren't there. But there are 4 or 5 E's and multiples of X, Y, etc... letters you rarely use. I want my money back because now I'm going to have to order a different set, and I'm frustrated.

but are not much better than the $1 ones
They work, but are not much better than the $1 ones. The magnets are weak and won't stick to the fridge, some just slide down to the floor. The magnets on the back seem secure but there is nothing holding them in except a tiny bit of glue on the bottom of them. This set does include multiple of the popular letters. Given what I know about them now I doubt I would buy them again.

I had to buy about 3 packs to get the free shipping on my order (I don't like to buy a lot of items at once because ...
Always wanted them as a kid, and now that I just got my own place I can finally have my own! I had to buy about 3 packs to get the free shipping on my order (I don't like to buy a lot of items at once because then I spend too much), and I'm glad I did. I only opened two and those letters are stuck on the fridge but the duplicate letters I don't believe there are enough of. If you want to be able to spell out multiple words you may want to get a extra pack or two, or you'll be missing that one letter you need and you'll be using a "V" and a "I" to make an "N".

Love them!!
These are by far the closest to the ones my sister and I had in the early 80's. While reading an earlier review I did take out the "I" pieces. It has 2 of them. The old magnets we had then were circle shaped. All of these are thin, rectangular strips. My 11 month old daughter can destroy almost anything, but not these! She can get them off the fridge, pack them to her room, but cannot get the magnets out! I recommend them to anyone, however, any little one still putting anything in their mouth, take out the "I"'s! And never leave them alone!
