I was desperately searching for a substitute when Rusk stopped making their Smooth line of Deep Shine deep conditioning treatment. It did not have an equal with any product I had used with my difficult hair. But, they came out with this one, and I tried it. It is a good substitute, and I guess I can't ask for more since the other is history. I do like the product for the results in manageability, but also I like the brightening of my lighter highlights. I recommend it!

Excellent product works and repairs does just what it says

I love this thick cream conditioner. I leave it on a little longer. My hair is very white & this gives it a beautiful purple sheen. It softens damaged hair.

I use this once a week on my gray hair, keeps it from looking like a brillo pad. My hair is actually a great shade of gray, almost call it white. I use this product to keep it that way.

Hair dryness

Gives my hair a lovely hue. I get compliments on my hair color.

I didn't like that the cap was off in the package and I had most of the product all over the inside of the package!

Does make my hair shine, detangles and smells nice.
