WOW! Great value! (Also Tried Oontz Angle)
I compared this side-by-side to the Oontz Angle Plus to determine what my new daily driver cheap bluetooth speaker would be.Well- they're very close. This one has a lot more low-end, so much so that depending on the surface it's sitting on, it'll vibrate around at higher volumes. The Angle sounded a bit clearer, but had a couple pitfalls. Namely, no way that I could find to get battery info. The F3 also has a line out which is a great little feature! They're both incredible values for the price. I feel like I'd lean a bit towards the SoundPal when recommending them, but it's very, very close.EDIT: Just did some battery testing! Lasted exactly 4 hours, 42 minutes at max volume. Not bad, but not 8-12 hours. This thing gets LOUD though, so I wouldn't be surprised if battery life is better at a more reasonable volume. (Side note- it's easy to just charge this speaker with a battery bank too if you carry one around like I do to augment your awful phone battery.)EDIT2: Thought I didn't do a comprehensive test, battery life appears to be a lot, lot better at a slightly lower volume (which is what I found myself using the speaker on for normal listening anyway.) I know I've returned to this review twice now, but I honestly can't get over how great of a buy this was. The Line Out is great for using it as a bluetooth audio adapter for our home theater (the adapters cost like $30 on their own, too!) and even a lot of the really expensive bluetooth speakers lack this simple feature. The audio quality on the thing seems to have improved considerably after listening for a long period of time, so I can safely disregard my earlier comment about it being less clear than the Oontz. At this point, forget the Oontz. This is a better package and this is the speaker to buy.

... an inexpensive portable bluetooth speaker with high wattage and good reviews. I bought four units of SoundPal F3
SoundPal F3 Portable Bluetooth Speaker Compatible with all Bluetooth Devices (Black F3) I was looking for an inexpensive portable bluetooth speaker with high wattage and good reviews.I bought four units of SoundPal F3. I wanted to experience "surround effect" that's why I bought four units at once.Shipping was fast. All four speaker boxes were placed in one appropriately-sized box (as per my shipping instructions to Amazon). The box was properly labeled and sealed. It was easy to open.I love the fact that this jambox-looking speaker can be stacked (place on top of each other). It also has a line-out (unlike most portable speakers). But you can't daisy chain these speakers using the line out. So I used a 5-way headphone splitter (Belkin). Four SoundPal F3's, when placed in strategic positions around the listener, create an "audiophile heaven". But two speakers are enough to create that "surround effect" I was aiming for. Here are my thoughts about the F3 speaker (one unit only):1. Good build quality. Feels sturdy and heavy duty. Rubberized exterior protects the speaker, but can attract dirt easily.2. Sound coming from this 15-watt speaker is top-notch considering its price. Most portable bluetooth speakers near this price range only offer 6 watts of power. The volume of F3 is not a lot louder than 6-watt speakers, but it's sound is definitely fuller, and not at all tinny. The bass that this speaker is producing is far superior than other similarly-priced speakers. Conclusion:I have no regrets buying four of these beauties. I definitely recommend this product.

Decent speaker, but the volume control could be better designed.
The overall sound is pretty good. Not what an audiophile is going to love, but plenty for the average user who just wants a speaker to link to their phone and so there is music while working out in the yard or washing the car. I wouldn't call the size "portable", but it could be tucked into a bag while traveling. It does take longer to establish the bluetooth link than I experienced with the Anker product this replaced. My only real disappointment is the volume control. The same buttons which skip a song forward or backward also control the volume. Thus you must press and hold to adjust the volume and there is no such thing as fine control. While I'd like to set the phone at full volume and regulate with the device (like I can do in my car) it's now a combination of setting some semblance of a volume setting on the device and then fine-tune using the volume on my phone. It works, but then I have to remember to set the phone back to full volume when I connect to my car or I end up playing games with that volume control too.

Sound quality not great
Maybe we just got a bad one, but the sound quality of this unit was poor. The battery did last several hours though. We returned it.We had purchased a different speaker with rave reviews (Soundbot SB520), which is a few dollars cheaper than this one at the moment. After receiving defective units twice (very short battery life on one, rattling noise inside the next one - but both still had xlnt sound quality), we decided to try this SoundPal F3 instead. Sound quality of this unit was not even close. So we went back & bought the other one again. Third time was the charm.Like I said, it may have just been just a fluke, but the sound quality of this unit was just not very good.

Great value and quality
This is my first portable bluetooth speaker so I have nothing to compare to but I can say that the audio quality is good for the the small size. The main reason I got this was to hook up to my desktop PC and get rid of the large 2.1 sound system. Good quality build and well priced. I could not find anything of similar size at stores at this price price point; most are 2 to 3 times more money. I've come to appreciate the line-out jack of which I've found two great uses. When this is connected to my computer with wired connection (Line-in) I can hook up my headphones to the line-out jack. When I want to use my home sound system, i hook the line-out to my receivers line-in and pair the speaker with smart phone via bluetooth. Previously I would have to have a wired connection between my phone and my receiver which means I could not carry my phone around the house. The negative to this unit is the matt black finish which shows greasy finger prints somewhat easily.
