Indoor Bike Trainer – Convert Mountain, Road, or Beach Bicycle into a Stationary Exercise Bike for Indoor Riding All Year Round by Bike Lane (Silver)

This is a good trainer especially for the price. It’s quite sturdy and easy to set up. I was worried about the resistance being too minimal but you can adjust the magnetic wheel tighter against your back tire to produce a lot of resistance and you have 8 levels of resistance on the dial that clamps onto your handlebar. And then of course you also have the gears on your bike, so can basically get any watt output that you want if you just play around with everything. I did find that the higher the resistance, the louder it got. It’s not super loud though. You can still hear music just fine. If you’re looking for a good cardio burn at a fraction of the price for the fancier smart trainers, this definitely fits the bill. Even the spin bikes at the gym weren’t giving me the level of cardio burn as this little trainer is giving me now. I’ve been using this every week for over a month and I get a great workout every time. I definitely recommend it.

I've put on atleast 50 miles on this, and the only con I've found is that it whistles when you are going like 9-10 MPH, does it need oil or something? I usually go faster than that so it's not a problem for me. The front tire holder looks so tiny, but it works; holds the bike in place. There is a dial from 0-10 to select the difficulty which is nice. I usually go about 3-4.

I rode on it last night. It worked well and was easy to set up. I needed to adjust my pin on the fly wheel so the bike wheel is barely touching it. That stopped the tire from rubbing the flywheel and leaving shavings on the floor. I didn’t find it noisy and could listen to music just fine. I’m still testing the resistance, so I don’t have a good feel for how it works.

If you have large 29” tires, not going to fit. Bet designed for 26” tires max?

I wanted this to work for me so badly, but it just isn’t great. To start, the magnetic tension adjuster just doesn’t work. At all. Also, my rear tire is going to be bald after just 4-5 light uses (20 minutes each time). The noise level is good if you’re using a road bike, but my daughter’s “normal” tire makes it pretty loud. It does feel very sturdy and was VERY easy to assemble, even switching out the axle thing in the back. But, I will be returning it as the main selling point for me was the ability to adjust the tension while riding.

I liked the product but it makes to much noise when tire touches the rotating mechanism and I didn’t understand the levels but it’s an ok product

LOVE this trainer. Pretty easy to set up, although you may need two people because of the weight of the bike and trainer. I already have a really good road bike but I live in the NorthEast so this was a perfect addition to my workouts to continue through the winter.
