Good mirror(s)
Bar end mirrors didn't work well on the swept back handlebars that I used this on. Both of the mirrors are the same so you can use left or right. I only wanted one for the left so I now have a spare. Mount securely, good mirror size and adjustability.

Cheap made in china plastic
Cheap quality, plastic. Not long enough. Spend more and buy metal. These suck!

Yeah that's the ticket!
The mirrors are simply too "short" to really provide any significant rear viewing on either side. Sadly, this seems to be the case with all the mirror sets I've looked at though I only ordered this one. It might be good for maybe looking out the "side" on right or left - perhaps at angles of 100 to 120 degrees - but I want a mirror that lets me look back 180 degrees - ie all the way behind me - and these are too short for that. So I sent them back. If I had banana handlebars up real high they might have some functionality -but otherwise I don't find these function for any true "rear view" type of vision. Hope this makes sense! Perhaps mirrors embedded in the very ends of the handlebars protruding outwards might be the way to go - this way the mirrors would "clear" the obstruction of my own body when looking backwards. So I'll consider that. Right now I'm just using a helmet mounted mirror when helps a little for left side viewing but doesn't do a thing for right side rear viewing. And the helmet mounted mirrors are too small. So get a second helmet mounted mirror for the right side for a little more coverage? Or try to find super 'tall' mirrors in the same style as these only taller? I don't know - but it doesn't seem like sufficiently tall ones are made by anybody anyway -so the only handlebar-mounted option seems like the handlebar grip "extension" style mirror - but these provide their own hassle- I'm afraid I'll cut it too tight at times and mistakenly hit something with the end of my protruding mirrors in the handgrips.. so maybe the helmet mounted ones are the answer after all - but again the trouble with helmet mounted mirrors is they are so small - not a big field of vision and you have to line them up just right to see anything - can't just take a quick look, scan the horizon, and then get back to watching the road. So all options are lacking it seems. Oh well. Maybe Pee Wee Herman style hugh mirrors on top of banana motorcycle style handle bars is the answer. But then my hands will fall asleep from lack of blood circulation as my arms are elevated all the time on the high handlebars. I can't win I tell you!. I've got it: maybe I need a rear view video camera system with a cam mounted on my back rack and a huge monitor on my handlebars... just like it being installed on many many cars these days as standard equipment when the car is egaged in reverse. A rear view video camera system.... come on bike accessory manufacturers, get moving on this idea! Yeah that's the ticket!

Great item for the price
Considering the low price, these aren't bad at all. Some other reviewers were saying they are difficult to fit on the handlebars because the circumference of the bracket is not large enough. Well, it is large enough if one takes off the lock washer and removes the padding that's supposed to keep the mirrors from slipping. I was able to tighten up the brackets just fine without using the items I mentioned. Haven't taken the mirrors out for a spin yet but, I think they'll hold up just fine.

No thanks.
You get what you pay for. Screw to hold to handle bar does not stay tight. Mirror does not extend out far enough to get a good view. One in trash, the other is hanging up-side-down on my handle bars.

Simple but effective
Works for me but the size may not be big enough for some who want to see more. I like the simplicity of them and the fact that you can adjust them to many angles.

These are FANTASTIC! I bike to work most days and my city isn't the most bike friendly city so this allows me to pay attention to other cars around me. My only thing is the right was is a little loose so I have to readjust it every so often but I bet with a screwdriver I can tighten it up!

Absolute garbage. Not even 2 weeks and both these crappie mirrors broke from my bike falling on each side flipping ONCE and both mirrors snapped off. The are not durable in any sense. Then before they broke I couldn't even get them to stay in place they were to easily turned. Then not major(since it probably wouldn't last long without breaking) but they are not glass which Is what wanted (and i think what is advertised)they are those fake plastic mirrors. these mirrors are cheap and you can tell
