Got tired of nothing ive tried working.. saw this had 2,600+ reviews and figured why not give it a shot. Glad I did and it gets the job done! It took maybe 10 minutes all together to see results from this stuff. I noticed the nasty brown stuff wiped off with a microfiber cloth after rinsing ..and it wiped off easy, not scrubbed off. After only 1 application this was my results. My boat is fresh water only and it’s had the scum brown color for years

I have not waxed or even washed my hull in 10 years. It gets a quick rinse with fresh water when it's pulled out for the winter. I dreaded the thought of compounding etc... so I just left it as is, used the boat each season and spent most of my time enjoying the boat and working. Well, some research led me to this product. Trust me I was skeptical, boy was I surprised. This stuff is amazing, probably the most effective product I have ever purchased for cleaning anything ever. So I sprayed it on the dry hull, used a small sponge in circular motion to cover the hull by section, waited literally 2 to 3 minutes and hosed it off. It worked, I could not believe my eyes. I immediately sent pictures to all my friends. A guy working on his boat actually stopped and asked me what I was using. The pictures I attached don't do the results justice. This product is absolutely amazing, best purchase ever. And....I had on brand new dark blue jeans and it did not spot or stain them or my black sneakers. I'm so happy I just had to share this experience. Don't give up on your hull. Amazing, so simple, and worth every penny.

OK, I'll admit I was skeptical when buying this hull cleaner. I live in Louisiana and I frequently operate my boat on inland waterways stained by tannins that over time stain the hull. I have historically been able to remove the stains with a combination cleaner/wax. More recently that technique had stopped working and I was considering more aggressive removal methods such as rubbing or cutting compounds, possibly even 5000 grit sandpaper, but was reluctant to go to such extreme measures for fear of doing more harm than good. I saw the Starbright product advertised and figured I'd give it a try. The instructions say to spray it on and let it sit for 2 minutes. However, within a matter of seconds, the sprayed area whitened. I couldn't believe my eyes, and thinking it might be damaging the gelcoat, I wiped it off with a wet towel. The photo is the result, and it looks absolutely brand new! The label on the bottle says, "Cleans scum lines and stains on boat hulls easily and effortlessly." That is 100% truth in advertising! Spray it on, let sit for 2 minutes, then rinse off. Again, I sprayed, let sit a few seconds, then wiped off with a wet towel, the rinsed. So much easier than using cleaner/wax. I could not be more pleased with this product.

The hull of my boat was a discolored reddish, brown color. I tried several different products on it including a 5000 PSI Steam Pressure washer, nothing worked. STAR BRITE Instant Hull Cleaner did the trick. I was amazed. It was not easy, I had to scrub with a lot of elbow grease. But it did remove the stain.... The stain had been on the boat all winter. So, if you used it right after getting out of the water it might not take as much effort. Great product, I will buy it again.

We pulled our new boat out of the water after having it in the lake for 4 months. The boat's waterline and below was covered in green algae and it looked like it was going to take hours to scrub clean. We called a detailer and received a bid of $1,500 to clean it, so we decided to give it a try ourselves first.We ordered Star Brite Hull Cleaner and couldn't have been happier with the results. We waited a bit too long to take the boat out of the water as our Michigan temperatures are now in the low 40s - not ideal boat cleaning weather. We followed the directions on the label, spraying on the Hull Brite, letting it sit for 2 minutes and washing it off with a hose (no power washer needed). We lightly cleaned any stubborn stains with a soft-bristle brush and it looks just like it did when we brought it home from the show room floor.This couldn't have been any easier to and we're happy to not have to pay someone else to detail our boat. We used one and 1/2 bottle for a 23 " bay boat and it was definitely worth the money.

There are a lot of things that say they work quickly and then there are a few that actually work. My boat had some serious scum on the hull. Nothing was working. This stuff is fantastic, it took the scum off very quickly the hull looks new!

Didn’t get the waterline scum line off like it said it would, but it did get some of it off.
