After installing several of these SharkBite U340LFA Brass Push Elbows on my buildings and a garden post, I've found that they work flawlessly well.Using stainless screws to mount them via their brass ears, these elbows have been proven to be durable. They are easy to attach to the side of a building or shed. The push feature quickly provides a permanent, watertight, leak-free connection to 3/4" PEX without needing any tools.

Pricey, yes, but sure is easy to install. I used this for plumbing compressed air in my garage, and it works perfectly.

Had a very old shower and head, early 70"s. Replaced shower body, handles and head. This is the piece you can screw to a board/brace. Then, your shower arm goes through the wall in to. Shower arms are typically 1/2" The Sharkbite is 1/2" as well.Be sure to clean the 1/2" copper pipe before sticking it into the Sharkbite fitting. Also, be sure to have a clean cut on your pipe. If you use a new pipe, use a copper pipe cutter not hacksaw unless you very good.
